Thank you all for the sweet words! :) They use a new 'plasma knife' to remove the tonsils now an it's supposed to make recovery faster! She seems to be doing quite well so maybe it works!?!

Oh I hate seeing my kids go through things like that too! My 9 year old had them taken out last summer and I cried when they were rolling her into surgery! They are tougher than we think though!!! Hope your little one is doing well. I love your cardi here - I am really loving all these anthro cardigans, cute! Wish there was an anthro near me!!

Awww. Poor thing. I hope she feels better soon. My 7 year old had them taken out when he was 3. I was amazed at how quickly he recovered. Your outfit's great!

I had my tonsils out when I was 32. I guess everyone is different, because it wasn't too bad for me. I hope your daughter has a speedy recovery and not too much pain.

@ bichonluvr- I've heard the older you are, the harder it is! So sorry to hear that it was "H * * *" for you! NOT FUN!!! She's tougher than I would be- that's for sure! Although I've been warned that days 3-5 are the worst!?!? :-\ We'll see!

@ namaste- Thanks! She's doing pretty good so far so I hope that continues {fingers crossed}! I had a bunch of returns at Anthro so I threw this cardi in and still came out of there w/ a refund! :-P Also, just a heads-up, I noticed that it's $68 in-store and only $58 online?!? I'm going to try and get it adjusted next time I'm there! Oh, and these shoes are great! I purchased them with the last 30% coupon. I have a hard time finding flats that actually fit AND are comfy-- these fit the bill! ;)

Ohhh, I can sympathize! I had my tonsils out at age 40 and it was H * * *!!!!! I lost 15 pounds afterwards! I hear it's so much easier for the youngsters.....I hope that's true!

So sorry about your little girl's procedures. Poor thing!! Your outfit is so cute. I just tried this cardigan on last weekend and it is totally on my wishlist for payday. Those shoes are cute too!
