You're so right, m3m! I've been trying to only buy things that I absolutely do not have a similar item of--filling the gaps, so to speak. But I keep finding lots of gaps! LOL I don't have half the clothes of most of you guys :) but I find I still have a hard time wearing everything in my closet b/c there just aren't enough days in a season! I try to remind myself of that, too. Of course, the fact that I have a miniscule clothing budget keeps me from being able to buy as much as I'd like, too! :P Sounds like you have a good plan for yourself! I think everything I've ever bought from J Crew has gone on sale and if I was patient enough to check for popbacks, it almost always shows up eventually (or on eBay or the JCA blog). Good luck! :)

Thank you! It came together really well. It's amazing how many outfits I can re-creat with the items that I already own!! It makes me realize (even more) that I really do not NEED anything so I'm just trying to pick up pieces that are unique and that I truly love. And... I'm trying to be more patient and wait for them to either go on sale (w/ extra % off) or pick them up on ebay or the JCA blog at discounted prices- sounds easy but it's pretty hard for me!!! :-\
