I stepped out of the car into the sunlight, instantly glad I hadn't worn heels today. The feet hurt like crazy, and it was only noon.
I grabbed my bag and started walking towards the building.
"Hey there," came a voice behind me.
He was tall, dark-haired, dark-haired and incredibly handsome. He wore a loose button-down shirt, jeans, and a pair of Converse.
He was hot.
I smiled. "Hey."
"Do you go here?" he asked, smiling back.
"Today's my first day," I replied. My word. He was gorgeous.
"Cool. I'm Henry Jacobson."
"Sunny Anderson. Nice to meet you."
We both smiled. Was he flirting or just being friendly? I couldn't tell.
"I guess I'll see you around, but if I don't..." he said, whipping out a pen. "Here's my number." He wrote his number on my hand.
I smiled as he turned and walked in the opposite direction.
Was that the welcoming committee?!
Man. I already love it here.
