An intricately detailed brooch dating from the 1940s, produced by Trifari. The rippling leaf design of the brooch features a luxurious gilt coating, with white diamante accents on the stem and at the base. The center of the brooch features a subtle reward for close observers: a tiny and colourful insect, set with a trio of red, green and blue glass stones. Trifari created some of the most desirable costume jewellery of the twentieth century, many of its designers having trained at Cartier. The company patented its own non-tarnish metal, calling it Trifanium, and was the first company to copyright its designs. Please note, this is a limited production piece of vintage jewellery. Avoid contact with liquids and other beauty products. Returns and refund policy: We want you to be happy with your purchase.
