All Togged Up in Duffle Coats

Like its cousin the peacoat, the duffle coat was born to keep sailors in the navy nice and snug during blustery storms. Toggle closures and the thick hood protected against fierce winds. The utilitarian design found its way to prep school campuses and has since become a wardrobe staple.
