I knocked on the door of the hotel room he had took permanence in, hoping he'd be alright seeing me now. I had pissed him off the last couple of times we talked and the threesome was just the cherry on top.
Josh opened the door and leaned against it, giving me a stare, "What are you doing here, Nix?"
"I have a peace offering, your favorite; red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing. I made them for you." I held out the pyrex dish full of the little cakes.
"Did you make them or did the bakery in the Venetian make it?" He smirked at me.
"I made them, I promise," I smiled
He waved me in, "Come on in."
I walked to the kitchen of his suite and set the dish on the counter and pulled one out for him. He took a big bite, "You like?"
He nodded, "Great. Thanks for them."
"You're welcome," I grinned at him.
"Okay, so what's with the cupcakes and nice-ness?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, when I got pissed at your little threesome with Jordan and the pretty boy, you yelled and screamed at me, saying it was, 'none of my business.' What's with the sudden change of heart?"
"Because, it doesn't matter if we're broken up, or together, or just f*ck buddies; you are one of the most important people in my life. I don't want you to be mad at me or anything..."
He just sighed and ran his hands over his face, "How do you do it?"
"What?"
"Have me completely forgive you in a matter of minutes..." I grinned and gave him a hug.
"Thank you. You're amazing,"
"Well I have been told." I swatted his chest as he grinned at me.
"Okay, well I have another question to ask you."
"What is it now?"
"Will you go to the Black Tie Event with me?" I smiled and blinked my big brown eyes.
"You know I hate those types of sh*t."
"For me?"
He sighed once more, "Fine."
