Spend the morning at the beauty salon to catch up on your gossip. Followed by a luncheon to promote the agency where the lucky Paris scholarship winner will be announced. Good Luck! [Winner will be announced in Kayla’s story]
Wear; Classy, dressed up.
I stood in front of the mirror and reached around, trying to fasten my necklace behind my neck.
“Here let me,” I grinned at Trent’s reflection in the mirror, his hands brushed the back of my neck and sent shivers up my spine. “There, perfect.”
“I’m going to go see if Harper is ready,” I smiled as he followed me out into the living room. “I pray that she and Miles aren’t screwing right now,” I laughed as I walked down the hall and tapped lightly on the door.
Harper flung the door open seconds later her face pink and flustered. “Hey,”
“You done f*cking Miles yet? Because some of us would like to get going,” I smirked.
“Um yeah,” She looked over her shoulder quickly “We’re done.” She squeezed her body through the slightly ajar door. Whatever had just happened in her room, she didn’t want me to see it.
“Great dress hun,” She smiled as she grabbed her clutch off the bench.
“She looks beautiful doesn’t she?” Trent piped up from the couch.
“Oh Trent hey,” Harper grinned. “Wait what about me?” She asked mock offended as she gave a little twirl.
“You look beautiful too Harper,”
“Well thank you,” She rose her eyebrows and gave me a supportive smile. I was glad she liked him almost as much as I did. “Hey Kayla can I talk to you in your room for a second? I need to borrow some shoes,”
I scoffed, “Hun your feet are like two sizes bigger than mine. Not to mention that the pregnancy has totaled swelled your feet to like twice their normal size anyways” She opened her mouth and shook her head. “Oh, I mean sure.”
We walked into my room and I closed the door behind me.
“Please tell me that you’ve slept with that beautiful man on the couch?” She laughed as she sat down on the couch.
“No I haven’t yet,” She opened her mouth, shocked. “Why is everyone so surprised? I do have some self control you know.”
“No hun, you don’t. And when your boyfriend looks like that…” Her voice trailed off.
“I want to of course; I’m just waiting for the right moment.” I pressed.
“Right well whatever works for you,”
“Sex just complicates things, I mean look what happened to you you’re pregnant.”
“So true, but it’s just so damn good.”
I sat down at the table and swirled my champagne around the glass,
“You’re nervous,” Trent smiled. “I didn’t know that you did nervous.”
“This is just a big opportunity,” I smiled. “Who wouldn’t be nervous?”
Veronica walked onto the stage and tapped the microphone. Most of the AMM girls took a long sip of champagne.
“Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the first Amour Model Management scholarship luncheon, I’m Veronica the owner of the agency and your MC for the afternoon. Of course all our wonderful models know today is the day when I announce the winner of the Beaute Model Management scholarship. Let’s not forget there was an incredible pool of applicants this year, and we here at AMM are so proud of all our models and we look forward to bright futures for them all. Now I won’t bore you with a boring speech and I’ll get straight onto awarding the scholarship. This was an incredibly difficult decision and the board and I have awarded the prize to the following models. Yes models. This year there is a split scholarship. I know shock horror!” Veronica paused, while everyone gasped. “I offer my congratulations to…”
She lifted the gold envelope off of the stand and opened it, pausing to raise her neatly plucked eyebrows. “Isabella Moore and Haylie Starr,”
