@heartsmarts How could I forget President Snow? You're very right. :)

@shapes9 I think that if he truly did love Katniss as much as he said he did, he would have at least tried to apologize. He didn't even say that he was sorry for Prim's death, regardless of who caused it.

I agree with everything you guys have said, and I did feel pity for him, I still do, obviously less after Prim's death, I also don't think he was aiming for Prim, because of what he did say, I just pity him less now, especially as he didn't stick with and support Katniss, he left for two, I mean they were best friends since they were eleven and thirteen! It's sad to think that their such great friendship ended so,

i still pity him as well. but i was so shocked that Prim dies and was so upset too. but i don't think that he actually meant to kill her, because of what he says to Katniss afterwards. "Protecting your family was the only thing I had going for me." and i felt sorry for him, because it's true. But he left for District 2 in the end anyway, so i guess he was never hurt too bad

@ilyxoxo17698 at some points I was just so mad at Gale and frustrated with Katniss, it was crazy. But I still pity him. Just a lot less after Prim's death....

i love everything about what you just wrote!
EVERYONE > Gale
i totally agree with you about feeling like you like Gale because you feel sorry for him and pity him. but i pretty much always hated him when he made Katniss question her feelings for Peeta

@bayersturm I kinda feel that the first half was just to please the fangirls begging for more romance......meh. Just a thought.

oh, that's good :) and the first half was the WORST!! It took me a really long(compared to the others, I guess) time to read the beginning because it seemed to just drag on about the love story part.

@bayersturm Oh no, I wasn't referencing your comment when I said that. :) I understand what you meant, and I really think the first half of Catching Fire was rather boring...so yes, it makes sense. :)
