Martone Cycling Co. is a fashion and design-driven bike company which has quickly earned itself cult status and the new 2014 collection doesn’t disappoint. As well as making bold statements in colour and personal style, each Martone bike features a SRAM two-gear automatic hub which requires no gears shifting – it adjusts and changes gears automatically based on your riding speed. Best of all: the commuter bikes require virtually zero maintenance. Built for the urban commute, Martone bikes are lightweight yet strong, made of high-quality double-wall aluminium with a signature red bike chain to add some magic to your journey. Available in an assortment of on-trend shades, the Martone bike comes in two diamond shape frame sizes for men and one step-through, one-size-fits-all frame for women. The 52cm frame suits men who are 5'3-5'9 in height, while the 56cm frame is best for men who are 6'0-6'5 in height. Bikes come in boxes 80 percent assembled. The pedals, front wheel, saddle, kickstand and handlebar need to be assembled and Martone Cycling Co. recommends you take your bike to a bike store to be assembled by a professional mechanic. The process is not complicated to do but only a professional can guarantee that your bike is safe to ride. A mechanic can also adjust the height of the saddle perfectly to your size, making the ride even more comfortable. All charges related to assembly are at the customers cost and vary from mechanic to mechanic. Martone Cycling Co. recommends you do not assemble your bike on your own although it is an extra expense it is only once in your bike's lifetime and vital for your comfort and safety.
