Aalto created a process that allowed him to bend thick layers of wood into gracefully curved shapes. The end result was the capability to product pieces with beautiful lines that were also very strong and not too heavy. Introduced in 1937 at the Paris World’s Fair, this Tea Trolley is made using this technique. For easy movement, these charming and highly functional pieces have large white wheels with black rubber tread that won't damage floors. The handle and edge banding are made of solid birch.
