The Artist

I am most definitely torn between 2 best picture nominees, both golden globe winners. The Artist was surprising, painful, infuriating, touching, endlessly charming and thoroughly authentic in it's pursuit. What seemed at first to be a mere gimmick became something more, something beautiful and pure. And that Jean Dujardin, what a knock-out! America could definitely use a good healthy dose of french culture! I for one hope to see a lot more of him!
