Audition: Charlotte Allistair
Subject of Study: Fashion design
Charlotte is a Vintage-loving girl with nothing but her two puppies (Maltese and Chihuahua called Freddy and Mireai) and 2,000$ in her pockets (hat sie die wirklich in ihren Manteltaschen??) when she arrives in London. In her imaginations she has already created whole collections for different seasons in her very own style: very classic, elegant and classy, English and Vintage. Charlotte is a gifted painter and her imagination would be enough for ten fashion designers but she does not have the right know-how to start her own label. So she decides to study first! However, she has never thought that she might eventually be discovered as a model and be introduced into the fashion business that way. Charlotte will never forget her dream and her ideas, but after some time of earning good money as a student she will recognize how difficult it is to stay a fresh model.

1.) Do you accept the rules?
– Yes, I do! I would be a fool if I did not accept my own rules..
2.) Do you agree that this kind of (more or less) easy life in London is realistic and worth striving for? If you do not think so, why do you then want to play in this role play?
-I think it is actually not realistic – only in some rather rare cases. Since I like this kind of lifestyle and this happiness, I would say it is worth striving for. And I created this role play to enjoy this kind of life in my imaginations and my stories.
3.) Do you like lovely, bright, and happy – but not exaggerated - atmospheres and do you think you can create such in your stories and set?
-I do love them and I hope I will be writing in this style.
1.) Why don’t you like parties and alcohol?
-I have had some bad experiences with alcohol and parties in my early youth. I do not like talking about this. And ever since I prefer staying at home when there is a party my friends want to go on. I am happy to say that my friends understood my behaviour and respected it! It made it much easier for me.
2.) What are your hopes for the near future?
- I hope that I will become a fashion designer and that I will have a happy and lucky life here in London. Maybe my plans will work out and I am able to found my own label. If not, I am sure I will find something else I do enjoy.
I jumped out of the red bus glad not to slip on the icy ground. My dogs had more problems slipping around like on ice skaters. Jimmy even sat down unintentionally which looked quite amusing.
I pulled my suitcase out of the bus and breathed in when it had passed by. Now I was in London on my own, just with my dogs and my few belongings. I was glad and proud that I had been able to manage everything to come here, and could not help a happy smile. The only thing I did not have was a place to stay for the night. I sighed but the smile did not disappear, and so I made my way to the next hotel.
Hopefully I would get the chance to share a flat with somebody in the next few days (hotels were expensive especially with two dogs and no job), and hopefully to find a job, too so I could pay my part of the flat.
After checking in, an elevator brought me to the fourth floor. Quickly I arrived at the right door and found myself in nice room with a big bed and a small but very clean and odorous bathroom.
When I lay in my bed this night, I just listened into the dark. I thought it would be very loud and busy in London even at night. But it was not - astonishingly. There was just a comfortable and quiet sound of driving cars, no cries, no laughter, nothing else. Maybe it was louder in the city centre?!
Even my dogs were quiet. I had put my clothes in the wooden wardrobe and a blanket in the suitcase where Tabitha and Jimmy were laying now. There was not much space for the two of them. But friends share even the smallest spaces – and Tabitha and Jimmy were best friends!
Tomorrow I would look for a flat and a job – internet was free in this hotel and my smart-phone had an internet-function. (After five years I had been able to convince my mum to buy me a new mobile-phone..., now I had a quite new one. I did not give much for electronic things but a mobile-phone with internet was really not bad!)
Good night, everyone!
