Oh I had the most horrific experience today. There was a woman on 57th Street and lexington who was passing out flyers for a manicure at FashionNails. I mean, FashionNails? Are they serious? Places like that give you foot diseases, i mean really, they should be illegal Well the woman comes up to me and keeps shoving the flyers in my face trying to get me to take one. I kept trying to avoid her and kept walking but she wouldn't stop. Finally, she said to me, "You really look like you need a manicure" Huh?? ME?! A MANICURE?! I mean, what was wrong with her. I glared at her and made a remark or two about how her nails (and hands AND face) could use some serious fixing and she stormed off. But I mean really, who is SHE to tell ME that I could use a manicure? Of course, it had to be just to get me to take a flyer but nonetheless, it made me the tiniest bit stressed that maybe I did need some cleaning up. So I hurried over to Bergdorf's (which is just where I had come from!) for a quick 15 minute spa treatment. But really, it was quite rude. I actually don't have much time now, I need to go to Bendel's and find some bathing suits for this weekend's 3-day spa weekend with some friends of mine in St. Barth's, so I'm off! Goodbye for now, I'll be back early on Monday!
