    SOLD OUT: More info
18K gold-plated "Do Brazil" chain bracelet, double-woven with cotton thread, tassel finish, paperclip fastening with signature designer. In Aurélie Bidermann’s constantly brimming imagination, dreams abound. And the feelings they evoke is where the designer draws her inspiration. That’s how, season upon season, she builds her own unique world. This winter she takes us to the land of the Maya, Inca and Aztec civilisations. Latin America in the pre-Columbian era. A wild land, still undiscovered by Christopher Columbus and yet to be pillaged by the conquistadors. An El Dorado where gold flowed freely in flamboyant places of worship. This majestic gold which the designer so cherishes. This handcrafted gold, marked by the patina of time which illuminates her sublime creations so perfectly. Just like the Indians used to work it. Solid gold, also reminiscent of the jewellery favoured by XXth century artists, the raw beauty of which constantly fuels Aurélie Bidermann’s creations. And so, as always, it is this play of contrasts, this blend of different genres which brings a contemporary feel to this collection. This isn’t about ethnic jewellery, but original, enchanted pieces. Jewellery with a history, and stories to tell.
