The southern quarter of Emeria. Austrum was always obedient to the king but not very involved in the national politics. Lords and Ladies of Austrum were preoccupied with their own drama instead. Austrum was never really opened for the rest of Emeria. People from the south are xenophobes, afraid of everything unfamiliar and new. When the Great Revolution began, Austrum was neutral and didn't side up with anyone until it was clear that the rebels are going to win. After the victory of the insurgents Austrum swore obedience to the new government and got back to their own business. The revolution didn't change Austrum at all. They are still a detached quarter, they do not cause any trouble and do not care about anything apart from themselves.
