Be Nice

1/27/13 This quote made me think of a couple of my new colleagues, both long term emergency services workers. Although I have just met them, I feel such warmth in their presence that it's therapeutic to just be around them. That they have this is quite a treasure, as crisis work can be so overwhelming that many who do it learn over the years to guard their hearts. For a contest:
