Literally too tired to make a legit set. I started but was like mmm, better not.

God, the Grammys this year are so bad. I'm just waiting for Frank Ocean. Wut wut.

Short story from your characters point of view about the last day of summer before going back to UC San Diego:

This isn't supposed to hurt.

The more we do this, the less awful it will be.

I shifted uneasily and smiled feebly at my friend Nate. He tried to smile back, but was this was al new to him too.

I tied my hair into a loose braid and relaxed at the warm feeling of having Nate's arms around me. The wheel began to spin and his large hands and my small ones began to shape the clay. Bits splattered everywhere, hitting me in the face.

I screamed and then broke into a fit of laughter.
The slap of clay hurt and Nate laughed at the moist clay that was beginning to dry on my cheek. "Clay is edible, right?" Nate asked. I looked at him deviously and nodded. He returned the smile and kissed my cheek where the clay was. "The party's just starting," he said with a sly wink.

We made out for a while and then realized we were covered in clay. "Ew, I need to change," I laughed. We got out and took the messy clay blob with us.

It was a hot August day and school was about to start back up tomorrow. It seemed deadly in the hot Pasadena heat and I was sweating up a storm. We went over to the local college where Nate was enrolled and went into his peaceful, air-conditioned room.

''Take a shower with me?" Nate asked. I laughed and shook my head. He shook his head with a smile and ducked into bathroom, closing the door. I stripped off my tank top and laid on the bed in my bra and shorts. It was too hot and quickly sat up again. Now was perfect.

I didn't like Nate. It wasn't him at all. I slipped my tank top back on and quickly slid out the door, making nothing but a squeak, which would be nearly impossible over the loud roar of the shower.
"Jacob?" I asked, speaking slowly into the phone. I wasn't sure where I was going or where I was supposed to be without Nate by my side, but I just kept walking; Nate's building getting smaller and smaller as I stepped briskly.

"Hello?" A groggy voice answered. Yes.

"Hi, it's Cassie."

"Cassie? What do you want?"

A loud crack erupted and I ducked into a phone booth. I quickly hung up my cell phone and redialed him on the phone in the phone booth. "It's me again. I need you to come get me," I said beginning to cry.

"Why, what's wrong?" He asked, concern rising in his voice.

"I love you," I said hanging up. Look at me. I never was tied down, but now, after twelve years, I realized my best friend was something else. I loved him like Jackie loved John. It was all and I was tired to lying to myself and seeing people I didn't care about on the side. I was done.
