Big, Big, Huge News

EEK! Okay so we set a date to get married next fall :)))) We bought the ring and he is going to talk to my father soon. When we first talked about this it was when he was finishing up his degree and looking at going to further it and maybe do a masters and I was just starting nursing, but it's been a long journey trying to figure out step two in our careers and my schooling and how to stay close to one another if I live farther away. So anyway, we are getting married next fall :) Here's the kick: we are getting married in a 50's diner. I know that it may sound cheezy but he does wedding photography and we really don't want a traditional wedding my any means so it left us with a few options. The first option was that we could have a 20 person ceremony which didn't work because so much of our family wouldn't be invited and the second option was to elope, but my parents would be irritated if their oldest daughter didn't have an actual wedding. So it's cute. I dont' know what else so say. I should be starting to wind down for bed because I have a 7am class tomorrow, but I can't. We talked from 12-5 today about everything and I am just excited. Don't be suprised if there's several 50's themed sets along the way lol! We are sending out records to the guests we invite and the record cover is a picture of us in a 50's get up with the wedding details. What do you think? It is really different, I know, but it's unique at least. I totally need help planning this!! Soo...this, school, and work explains why I am never online.
