@incogneato ... yes, I will admit I'm a brat (actually, I've been called worse) ... and work hard at it ... art supplies AND Hawaii ... ;-P

@jilbert You are such a brat! Seems a few people were given art supplies for gifts!!

@cindyfaye ... btw --- I only wish this were my studio ... actually, I wish I could get myself together and actually paint. BUT ... I'm making progress ... I got a wonderful watercolor "box" with supplies for xmas and, for probably the first time in 42 years, I actually played with an artist's brush and paint (meaning, I've painted walls --- just not art). Didn't do much ... just played ...

@cindyfaye ... in one of our PMs/comment exchanges, @xrissa basically laid down the gauntlet ... I was asking if "I painted you a bittersweet vine" would it qualify ... her answer was something along the lines of -- at least one of the contest entries would qualify (guess she was having problems with entries that didn't meet her criteria). Anyway, long story short --- I "painted" her a bittersweet vine ... I also made sure it was of the American variety which is as invasive as the ones @incogneato is talking about below ... ;-)

What a fabulous art studio you have created! I love how you've got the unfinished paintings leaning against the wall, just like in a real studio!

@jilbert I had morning glory in my last garden and it is a dreadful plant. Will choke the life out of new plants so easily. I am not a big fan of invasive species ... here Scotch Broom is the bane of our existence. Many invasive plants get stronger the more you try to dig them out, or as in the broom, will drop a pile of pods to reseed themselves. When I see people growing it on purpose I want to scream!

@incogneato ... I actually found all that out when I went searching for the vines to "extract" ... and having always lived on the west coast, I've never had to deal with this vine in any of its forms ...

It is a plant mostly of the east and Midwest. Three varieties and only one is a 'well behaved plant!' The other two are 1) one from Asia that an invasive pest and 2) something (non-native) of the nightshade family ... I would have several root canals before fighting any nightshade plant!!)

@incogneato ... wow ... you're a tad violent tonight (unless you're referring to the outside lights) ... LOL!!! As to the vine, @xrissa may not have realized it, but she through down the gauntlet in one of her comments ... ;-)
