This week has felt like the longest week ever. First from seeing this all unfold while celebrating Patriots Day and watching the Marathon on television. To learning that someone I went to high school with had been killed because of these explosions, and now experiencing a city littered with media vans and police/military at every corner. But this city is amazing, we are so strong, and hearing the President talk about Boston like he knew Boston, that made me tear up because it is my home and I so hope you all get to experience how beautiful it is, even when the T is never on time, even when you can't understand what we're saying, even when we're rude and won't give you directions (because we don't know street names, we're sorry). Thank you to everyone who has thought of us, prayed for us, even made a set for the victims ... from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
