in this tip i'm going to be talking about the braided headband. it's a super cute look that is really popular this summer(: & Lauren Conrad has also been seen wearing this style. if you want to learn how to create this look, keep reading!
so the first thing you want to do is part your hair to one side. you want to part the hair really far to one side so either your left or right. you guys can see in the picture how her part is really over to the side. having your hair parted like this will allow the braid to fall farther across your head(:
now you're going to want to divide off a section of hair that you want to be in the braid. you can have a small amount or large amount of hair, just depends on how big you want the braid to be. & then you can pull the rest of your hair into a ponytail or something just to get it out of the way.
& now you're just going to french braid your bangs(:

when you've finished braiding, you can take a clear elastic & tie the hair, & then i like to pin the hair back with some bobby pins right by my ear. it just hides the braid at the end of the braid & looks like the hair goes behind the ear. when you pin it back make sure to use the cross bobby method. which just means when you put the bobby pins in they should shape an x.
& that's it(:
