It's been one month since these young Nigerian school girls were kidnapped. How frightened they must be. How helpless the mothers and families must feel. Even with greater awareness, it seems there should be more efforts being made and more hope for their rescue... just MORE. Every prayer or effort does matter, even though we may not see the effect it brings. If it were our daughters we would all be grateful for even the simplest of prayers. If it were us as young girls terrified and alone we would be desperate for them. Offer what you're able, it does make a difference.

On April 14th 2014 the Islamist group Boko Haram is believed to have kidnapped a group of over 240 girls in Chibok, Nigeria. Parents and citizens have started to mobilize in response to the Nigerian army’s disinterest and general incompetence in even attempting to rescue the girls.
The girls, all between 12 and 17, some Christian and some Muslim, were taken in the middle of the night by men pretending to be Nigerian soldiers. They were taken to different terrorist camps to serve as wives, spies, and servants. Their only offence was wanting to study.
Thanks @lillibunneh and @carolgrant for bringing this issue to our attention.
