The Brit Pack: Talented British Musicians
#1: Florence + the Machine.

Florence Welch is an artist from London and well known for her band Florence + the Machine. The Band’s album “Lungs” was released in July 2009 and held the no.2 position for the first five weeks in the UK Album Chart. But in January 2010, they reached the no.1 position on the Album Chart. It is one of the best selling albums of 2009 and 2010. Lungs won the “MasterCard British Album,” at the Brit Awards.
Their song, “Dog Days Are Over” was featured in the Slumdog Millionaire Film4 advert. As well as the song, “Heavy in Your Arms,” featured in the Eclipse Soundtrack for the Twilight Saga.

After Most Wanted Series, I'm starting on a new collection called, "The Brit Pack: Talented British Musicians." I think the UK has the most talented musicians, they are so inspiring! My inital inspiration for this collection was actually Robert Pattinson's friends Bobby Long and Sam Bradley - their voices, are amazing. I'm from London, and I've discovered so much talent from these musicians, which I never knew existed. (I know shame on me) I was too into Muse and Paramore. I call it the Brit Pack because it refers to British Actors and Musicians. What I like about musicians in the UK, is that there is no Miley, Disney Stars or Justin Bieber. No offense if I offended anyone, that's just my opinion. I just dislike them very much.

So, Florence + the Machine is the first set in this series of British Musicians because I was inspired by her song in the Lungs album, "Cosmic Love." Listen to it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfBY96qxVRQ I can't stop listening to her album!
Her style is very electric, soft, bohemian and retro. She looks amazing in red hair, I have to say. I think this outfit is sort of her style :).
I hope you like this set, with my idea of this collection and the theme.
I found out about Florence before, and Eclipse had absolutely NOTHING to do with it, but it is the only reason why they're big right now...aren't they?
