Polyvore's Super Twenty.
A set that tells a story. (And write a story if you wanted to)
The set relates to the story, if you read the story.^.^
OKAY, before you read this please be aware my imagination sucks, so this is kinda weird/boring. Also my grammar isn't perfect, soo yeah. If you're a grammar nazi, don't read it..... :p
"Oh, come on Cathy, come for a swim! Don't be such a baby!" yelled my friends from the edge of the lake.
"Maybe later, I'm tired" I yelled back, hoping that would satisfy them and they'd give up trying.
With that they turned their backs on me, muttered something about me being a freak, and jumped into the lake. I didn't even want to come here in the first place. I only came because my parents are always complaining that I'm antisocial. I hate these stupid school parties, it's always the same old popular people. Half of the people here don't even know my name anyway.
I lay my head down on the picnic blanket and closed my eyes, trying my best to drown out the laughing and shrieking coming from behind me.
I was so busy day dreaming that I didn't notice they were back until someone poked me in the head. "Don't do that!" I yelled sitting up to see the boys grinning at me. "What do you want?.." I asked whilst nervously fiddling with my hair. "We thought you'd like to go for a swim" said Joe grinning. He shook his hair and the water flicked at me. "DON'T!" I shrieked and quickly wiped at my legs. They laughed in unison at my freak out. "What's wrong Cathy? It's just water" said one of the girls.
Before I had a chance to answer her, Joe slung me over his shoulder and began to walk towards the lake. "NO! STOP IT PLEASE! Put me down!" I screamed begging frantically.. I kicked my legs trying to get free, but It was no use, he was stronger than me. Everyone as giggling behind him chanting "Throw her in, Throw her In". Within seconds I was thrown into the lake. The water blurred around me as I struggled to adjust my eyes. I frantically looked at my feet, still feet. I desperately swam to the surface and pulled myself out. "Oh god, look at her!" "Did you enjoy your swim?" were some of the comments I heard as I hauled myself up the bank and started to run towards the woods. My clothes were sticking to me and my legs covered in mud, but I couldn't stop running. I needed to get out of here or they really would have something to laugh about.
"What the hell? Where are you going Freak?!" I reached the edge of the woods and collapsed behind a tree, just in time. I fell to the ground and looked down where my feet had been replaced with a long green tail. I sighed and quickly wiped away the tears that were beginning to fall down my face.
I've always had a fear of water. It's not what's in the water that scares me and it's not the idea of drowning. It's what happens to me when It touches me that terrifies me so much. I honestly have no idea why I am like this. I never believed in fairy stories. I used to think mermaids and any sort of mythical creature were complete rubbish, but not any-more...
