Where does a fashion icon get inspiration? For Nicole Richie, it all started with her mom, Brenda, who picked Chanel and Alaia’s lush colors and luxuriously finished fabrics for her evenings out. Mod and boho icons of the 1960s and 70s, Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg also inspire Nicole’s flowing, slim-silhouetted style, complete with loose, blond tresses. Not all of Nicole’s fashion faves are women: rock-god Keith Richard’s dark, leather-clad looks temper the boho sweetness that Nicole favors, keeping her style in balance.
