A champion and pioneer for American-made manufacturing, New York City-based designer Nanette Lepore has been producing playful and electric womenswear for years. Now, with her Fall 2013 collection ready to roll—she shows on February 13 at Lincoln Center—the spirited and social media-savvy creator spoke with Polyvore about her brilliant spring and fall collections, personal style obsessions and business-minded missions, one of which is to protect and preserve Manhattan’s delicate and historic Garment Center.
