Polyvore Office Design Challenge The Polyvore team needs your help decorating our brand new office! We're moving into a big, old, warehouse-like space that could use some livening up. Our constraints: - Keep the price down! We're a startup working on a shoestring budget, so please use inexpensive furniture from places like Ikea. - The walls have to be white. We can't repaint the walls to any other color, but we can decorate them with decals, posters, paintings, and screens. - No cubes! We like to talk to each other and prefer an open layout.

Yves Saint Laurent was one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th century. In the late 50's, he took over the House of Dior at the young age of 21. He went on create many iconic ... looks for Christian Dior and for his own Yves Saint Laurent line, including le smoking (the women's tuxedo jacket) and Beatnik chic (black leather jacket, knit turtleneck, and high boots). He was well-known for empowering women with his designs and for being one of the first couturiers to hire black models to walk the runway. He was also the only living designer to ever have an exhibit held in his honor at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the age of 71. In tribute to the legendary designer, please create sets in his honor that either use Yves Saint Laurent items or capture the spirit of le smoking and beatnik chic.
