What is the Polyvore editor?

The Polyvore editor lets you compose your sets using items that have been imported into Polyvore by you or other users. Think of it as a very simple collage editor.

How do I use the Polyvore editor?

The Polyvore editor has two main areas: the canvas and item panels. Simply drag items from the items panel over to the canvas. Once there, you can drag the items around, resize them by dragging on the small squares at each corner, etc...

The items panel contains different tabs:

My Items
Contains any items you have saved or used in the past. You can use tags to organize these items
Drafts
Contains your draft sets. You can drag a draft set over to the canvas to continue editing it
Sets
Contains any sets you have published. Dragging a set over to the canvas will load it for editing. If there is a draft version of that set available, the Editor will automatically load that version for you.
All Items
This is search interface to all the items imported to Polyvore by you or other users. You can search by keyword, site or color. You can open as many of these tabs as you want by clicking on 'New Tab'.

You can save your set as a draft and come back to continue working on it at a later time. Once you are happy with your creation, you can publish it with a title, notes and also add it to any groups you belong to.

Note: You can make changes to your sets at any time but you will have to re-publish them if you want others to see those changes.
