i love praise and worship time at my church.. it's too far away to drive to every sunday now (1 hour away).. i used to all the time but now it's getting to be winter time and it's too dangerous because the roads are backroads that are very winding... hopefully i will find another church that has as good a praise and worship time..

it seems like junk just congregates to my purse! that purse isn't exactly mine, but it looks a lot like it! love red plaid!

*Wallet with debit card but usually no cash, plus random cards like - license, car & health insurance, rewards cards, old college i.d. that i keep so i can get a student discount at movie theaters haha
 
*random notes to myself that i rarely remember i put in there
 
*key-chain with car keys, house keys and keys to work with a flash-drive, chapstick and CPR pocket-mask attached
 
*receipts receipts receipts
 
*random candy wrappers
 
*LG Chocholate... can't wait to get a new phone in March!
 
* and a stupid stupid stupid Nikon Coolpix that puts me a bad mood every time I use it... cant WAIT til Black Friday!

*should probably see someone about my road rage... i dont scream and shout, but if someone cuts me off i'm sorry but i tailgate them to the point of being dangerous..... reeeally bad, i know, it's kinda hard to control :-/
 
* i have a hard time going to bed at night.. it's not the falling asleep part (i can handle that!) it's the getting-myself-upstairs-and-in-bed part... which leads to lots of days where i just want to sleep in... but since i work 5 days a week that just means that i end up being late to work every day and on weekends i sleep sometimes til 11 and then im lazy on the couch all day.. awful yes i know, but im just so tired from life! (and i think i get seasonal depression in the wintertime).. im gonna ask God to help me with that laziness though.. it's getting really bad!

i had a bad day today because of something a friend wrote on facebook... I dont know the full details, so correct me if I'm wrong, but recently there was a soccer (football) match between Egypt and Algeria and apparently there were altercations.. She (who is Algerian) and many other Algerians are saying that an Egyptian Jew murdered an Algerian football fan (and 7 others??)... Now, the both gov'ts are denying it (possibly to not cause an outbreak at the last football match?) and I cannot find any reputable sources at all which say it's true... but anyway that's the background story...
 
She wrote on her facebook, "je veux qu'on tue ces juifs" (i hope we kills these jews) and "on va vous tuer cette sale race" (we are going to kill this dirty race).. Well... I know it was probably the "wrong" thing to do to post my thoughts about what she said on her FB page, but I did anyway. I told her that it was too bad she had this mentality and that the world is the way it is because of people with that mentality.
 
Jews kill Arabs. Arabs kill Jews. But hatred in reaction to hatred is not the answer. It's a vicious circle that is never going to end unless people have a complete change of heart and of mentality...
 
Needless to say, the next time she saw me on FB she chatted me to debate about what I had written... It was a very heated debate (as heated as online debate can get... and in a second language - French - since she doesnt speak English!)... but my heart was pounding with anger towards the way she thought. It's just so sad to see people who get sucked into the hatred... I just, I dont really have words for it...
 
I do not defend the person who may have killed the football fan(s?), but hate seems to only produce hatred which produces hatred and it's easy to feel like there is no hope in this world.. (of course, I know there IS - Jesus - but.. you know what I mean)
 
This set represents my feelings about today... I have studied a lot about the Arab-Israeli conflict and both sides are wrong. Israel bombs residential areas in Gaza and schools in the West Bank killing women and children. Palestinians strap bombs to themselves or their children and blow up public places killing civilians. etc etc etc etc I could go on and on, but what's the need.....
 
It's just so disheartening to see these pictures... because that means another generation will grow up to continue committing atrocities in God's Holy Land.....
