I woke up a bit disgruntled by the vibration of my phone and I found my new roommate in her own bed. I hadn't gotten to meet her since she was out when I first got into my room. Peyton was her name I think. Hecka cool name if you ask me. I tried to get out of bed as silently as possible but I tripped over my duffle bag lying haphazardly on the floor causing me to loudly bang my knee on the wall. Sh.t I muttered to myself.
Peyton groaned then before I knew it, my new roommate was awake. Fantastic. Tip one, always wake up your new roommate with a loud noise. Riiight.
"Hey, you must be Kennedy," she said rubbing her eyes.
"Yeah, that's me," I shrugged apologetically.
"Cool, well, morning," she said stumbling out of bed. "I'm Peyton, where you from?"
Okay was it just me or did she not sound angry or aggravated?
"Connecticut, just a couple of hours from here." Couple? More life five.
"Nice, wanna get some breakfast? I'm starving." She said, giving a weak smile.
"Ditto," I said, smiling and rolling my eyes, waiting for her to comment on my vocabulary.
"No way! You say 'ditto' too? Everyone makes fun of me for it," Peyton said grabbing a sweatshirt.
I think I just found my long lost sister.

"Evan? What are you doing here?" I said when I saw him in the lounge.
"Well you wouldn't answer any of my texts," he winked. "So I thought I might as well just tell you good morning in person."
I couldn't help but smile. "Honestly, I can't decide if you're being a creeper or just a really sweet guy."
"Well KP, you think what you want to think. All I know is that I'm Evan and I'm talking to the prettiest girl in the room," He smiled. My mom called me KP. Coincidence? I hope so. And I couldn't help but notice that he had really straight, white teeth and a wicked adorable smile.
Well everyone knows that you should play hard to get so it doesn't make you look like you're "easy" but I think I'll consider bending the rules....

I think I may just be on on the weekends but Thanksgiving break is coming up so you might see me on more. Who knows, I don't.

Don't have much time to do this much but here's a quick story.

It was only 10:34 pm when I entered my new dorm room. Now don't get me wrong, I can be a party animal but I was just so tired so I left before it really started. I didn't even get to meet the birthday girl.
The party was fun and all. I met up with Elliot and chilled with her but I didn't feel right there. It was all happening to fast. I literally got at the school and barely got into my dorm room before I got invited to the party. Let's face it, I was dead tired. And a bit lost. I had no one close to me since mom's in Austria and besides her, I have no family. I was on my own.
I stuck my key and before I entered the room, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I whipped around to see a familiar face.
"Hi," he said smiling. It was the guy from the party, whom I brushed my shoulder against. His brown hair was spiked up in a faux-mohawk style and freckles were sprinkled over his nose.
"Hi," I said awestruck.
"I'm Evan, were you just at Spencer's party?" He said casually, as if it wasn't weird that he just followed me.
"Umm, yeah I was. I'm Kennedy," I said steadily.
"Hmm. Kennedy, that's different." He raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I guess," I shrugged.
"Hey nice key," He gestured towards my key that I was fumbling with.
"Oh, uh thanks" I smiled. Most people often ridiculed my taco key cap...
"So, I'll see you around?" Evan said, raising a hopeful eyebrow.
I gave a weak smile. "Yeah, you will," I winked. Bahh, that was totally an impulse thing, couldn't help it. He smiled and casually walked away. I usually don't wink at guys like that. I also never get nervous around guys and most guys think the taco key cap was weird. I had come to a conclusion. Evan was definitely something else.

I have another lesson tomorrow. My teacher said I can pick a couple songs that I wanna learn and he'll pick one he can teach. So far on my list, I have

I stared out the window of the train and saw nothing but fields. Fields, fields, fields. That's all I've been seeing for a while now. I don't even know what I'm doing here right now. Seriously, my mom just had to put me on the train with a bunch of old people. two more hours to go. Yay.
 
This wouldn't be happening if mom didn't meet Franz. Some austrian artist she met at some art convention. See, mom's a starving artist and claims Franz "inspires" her. So what does she do? She sells our condo in Connecticut, moves off to Austria and somehow scrapes up enough money to send me to some glitzy prep school in New York. Fantastic. I'll just hope it has a good music scene. Okay, so she didn't have to spend too much, I'm actually a scholarship kid and I'm not afraid to say so. I don't wear Juicy sweatsuits or carry Prada bags, I'm just an average girl from Connecticut. Don't get me wrong though, I'm hecka nice ;) Here I come Golden Ridge Academy.

Hmm I thought I'd make a quick Glee collage but don't worry, I have an ARTTM one in my drafts which I'll work on tomorrow ;) Damn Yankees (haha) They're the reason I haven't been able to watch Glee for the past...2 weeks.

If you don't understand what "Nothing Personal" means, you are a failure of an All Time Low Fan :P Psh don't even call yourself a fan if you don't get it lol.

So I had my first official guitar lesson yesterday. It went well. I learned "A Hard Day's Night" by the Beatles (pshh who else?) And my teacher said I can pick a song or two for next week. I really wanna do a song by the Maine but I can't decide which...

Listening to their CD right now. Just for fun :)

Just found this band this morning :) Love them now.
 
Finished King Kong last night haha. My dad ended up watching UC & UConn in another room x] Personally, I'm more a NFL person so...GO BENGALS!
