As I walked down the hallway, my eyes darted back and forth, keeping watch for any slushies that might end up in my face. Then I caught sight of a piece of paper on the wall. I always hate writing at 90 degree angles. It was the sign up sheet to audition for glee club.
 
Later, at auditions, I stood backstage waiting for them to call my name. It smelled like paint, mold, sawdust, and old fabric.
 
Then I stood next to a piano. It was slightly out of tune but skilled hands were pressing the keys. I saw eyes widen when the sound came out of my mouth. I was being appreciated. The excitement made my voice quiver, but I quickly composed myself.
 
The confidence was making me glow. I felt as though someone turned on a lightswitch in my veins. I felt as though if someone had slit my wrist at that moment, beams of light would pour out instead of blood. So I made a decision, on the spot, to turn the last note into a high note.
 
I ended that audition with a big smile on my face,

Note: I am a STRAIGHT boy. I promiss. I enjoy females. Very very much so. In fact, I enjoy one particular female the most. Anyway, Kurt is gay...but if I'm in a gLee roleplay it's better if I play a gay guy. That way I wont have to roleplay love with someone and betray my real feelings to a real girl! Now that my explanation is over, to the audition!!

It's raining. I hate walking home. My hair is sticking to my forehead and all the product in it isn't helping. I forgot to spray waterproof stuff on my new boots and I flinch at every squish sound they make when I take a step on the wet pavement.
 
I'm thinking about the time I went to New York and saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. And I saw Lumiere, the candlestick. Oh, how I wanted to be him! And then the applause echoed in my ears in slow motion. The audience loved him. They loved his singing and dancing. They too saw how talented he was.
 
But here... I could be just like him but nobody claps for me. I get thrown in the dumpster regularly. I sometimes wonder why I was born so different. And more than that, I wonder why I wasn't born somewhere.. where different is special.. and talented.. and admired....

My mate who moved to da U.S. (Illinois.. sp?) sent me a mysterious box today that had "Thought you would like this." written on it. Inside was the first season box set of an American TV show called gLee. Thank you Brad I am now in love with this show! I have only watched the first 4 episodes so far -IF YOU SPOIL ANYTHING I'LL EAT YOU FOR DINNER- and if it weren't for exams, I'd be watching it all through the night. These two are my favorite characters. XD
