High- waisted,that is... I am all about this trend and its various uses- professional, sophisticated or fun! Loving the high waist and how flattering it is on all shapes. ;)

I went to a fabulous poolside party in the Hamptons this weekend, and have recreated the looks I saw here.
 
It is a wonderful mix between casual cool and dressed to the nines! It was an eclectic mix which made for excellent people watching providing loads of inspirations. ;)

This one goes out to my friend Miss Jen, who sweetly asked me to give guidance on heels you can actually walk in. ;)

Another great trend I have been noticing is sheer tops in the daytime. You can make them dressy for work with a highwaisted pencil skirt, or keep them more casual and summer cool with shorts.
 
No matter how you wear them though, be sure that your bra underneath is the opposite of sheer and provides full support and coverage- like a swimsuit top.
 
I like the all black, under tee version. It reveals nothing, and definitely still gives you that sexy fashion forward look under a sheer top.
