[I don't feel like writing a story, but basically a bunch of stuff went down between Artemis and Scorpius, and he's asked her to try to stop being in love with him, and she's dealing with it now. RP if you wish :)]

[Blahh, I haven't written anything in days, but here goes nothing.]
 
I stared up at the star-dotted sky that night, my mind caught in a hurricane of thoughts. It was a brutal tug-of-war inside my head that was only pacified by the sight of the full, brightly shining moon that was a silver halo atop the Forbidden Forest in the distance.
 
I was laying flat on my back on the balcony of the Astronomy Tower, just thinking. I couldn't sleep, especially after all of the day's events.
 
I'd come to the realization that I might have been pregnant.
 
I told Scorpius.
 
I took a pregnancy test, and it came back negative.
 
I showed Scorpius.
 
I told Scorpius what I'd told Artie earlier, about how I didn't want to live with any regrets, because I might not be around one day and I don't want to die knowing there were things I left undone.
 
I'd then proceeded to tell Scorpius that I love him. And then I kissed him.
 
And then the rest of the day passed by in a blur. For the moment, at least; my brain was muddled from exhaustion.
 
I had a lot to mull over. And I'd always found the stars and the moon to be a perfect companion for thinking sessions. Particularly on calm, tranquil nights such as these.
 
I lay on my back on the rough stone floor until I heard someone coming up the steps.

I woke up that morning feeling strangely uplifted and hopeful. Happy, almost.
 
I got up, left a note for Artie saying that I went for a walk to the Astronomy tower, and then took off without bothering to put on something other than my pajamas.
 
I walked, enjoying the early morning quiet of the castle. The portraits were sleeping soundly in their frames, and there was a distinct sense of tranquility, something I'd been sorely missing.
 
I made my way up to the tower, leaned against the railing, and took in the view. The sun was just peeking over the distant hills, and the sky was turning from a deep, dark blue to a mix of pink and orange.
 
I smiled. A real smile.
 
And no one was even watching.
