I went through the site & picked out the most expensive items in several categories.

One outfit for the same amount that covers my supplies, books, travel expenses, personal care items, and random snacks for 5 months.
I'd have to work over 40 three-hour shifts to earn that.
120 hours.
20 days, if I worked 2 shifts a day.
*summer job flashback attack*
 
Puts things in perspective, doesn't it.
 
If I was handed any of these for free, I'd wear it...but I don't see myself buying any of this stuff any time soon. (I'm a fan of the boots, however...)

yay for legit outfit sets. :] I haven't been doing these as often, just cuz. needed a break. I've been wearing basic/cozy outfits lately, and while they look fab around campus, they aren't set-worthy. (kneesock, dressing normal? whattt? haha)
 
may I say, toss tall boots and a peacoat in with any outfit = instant class. no one has to know you're wearing an in-n-out burger t-shirt underneath >.>

wow, no F21 or UO! I made a list b/c I realized everything is from a different store. I have too much daydream time in class...

along with those chain-embellished sunglasses. curse you, F21!

viscom photos, capture the flag at the strata center, roomie's sister visited, I think I'm coming down with something -.-

I pictured it with light neutral flats, and a fun cardi/necklace :] don't be afraid to add more color

friday: pull on jeans, new boots, h&m grey tunic, f21 military vest, vintage coat scarf
 
came to school early, dozed over a book about constructivism, photo class, mac n cheese, fun, with a dollop of dramarama. fml.
 
saturday: (afternoon) pull on jeans, new boots, red sweater, cream circle scarf
 
napped when I got back to my dorm, photo store outing with cupcakes and coffee, (had vintage camera sent out for repair estimate) chilled, headed out to jungle party at my friend's frat. good times, lots of dancing.
 
sunday: exhausted. we'll see.

Wednesday's outfit. For part of it, anyway.
I've been switching outfits a lot, sort of scattered and relaxed lately. As a result I can't remember specifics. Jeans, tees, jacket layers, scarves, easy shoes
 
Tuesday, 2nd day of classes: mind blowing design class, chilled with a surprise visit, finished homework for once
 
Wednesday: Psych class room # mix up (ugh, not a good start, professor!) lunch, chilling, the usual. Meeting cancelled due to free paper, campus candy toke, sat in on a class for kicks. Midnight potluck, walked back to campus, 5 hours of sleep. woops
 
Thursday: 8am typography class. redbull ♥ burritos for lunch, came back to the dorm. went back for history of modern design class. stoked about that! chilled with friends
 
photo class tomorrow, hope it goes well
 
6 classes, full load. I've got work ahead!
 
all in all a good start to my rock style lifestyle mission thus far. x]

This has been in my drafts for a few months.
I didn't end up publishing it since things "got better".
Now it's relevant again, (not in its original intention but damn close & kinda ironic) don't know what else to add...so, here it is.
Almost deleted it, glad I didn't.
Time heals, but time away conceals.
I'm not going to run away again.
Taking my current situation, chilling it out and improving it with fresh faces.
And maybe pretending to be Keith Richards more often. I'm not sure how that will help but it'll be fun.
