I'd ramble a little about how society picks everything for us anyway (no one is "unique") etc etc but I'm tired.

I know.
I'm not saying the items I edit are much different, I steal store's clothing images & use them. (as bases for recoloring/collaging, mostly)
But I do not care for premades.
Some of them are really awkwardly proportioned, or made from overused items, or from recent popular ones. but also: I see all these cute combos in sets & I think "oh that person is clever! what a cute assortment of 3 items...oh wait. someone else did that for them."
 
I know it saves 2 items so people can max out their precious 50 items, but still...c'mon. Polyvore used to be about layering your own combos.
 
& it's nice that the creators want to share their ideas...but why not use those combos in your own sets & then render/draw/make/photograph your own clothing? or something. I'd like to see this branch out.

I was too lazy to properly recreate my black & white dress.
finally wore my black heel booties. I need more practice.
