"Notre Passion Play a enfin commencé"

I tried to make this a Paramore set... not just a Hayley set.
I don't think it turned out that way. Fail.
 
I think this song may be my favorite of Paramore's ever.
It's so different from what they normally do, and it kind of eerily fits my life right now.
 
So I went into Hot Topic yesterday and was looking around for interesting band t-shirts... because I want to change what I wear. I want to start that change by wearing band t-shirts.
But the thing is; I don't want to walk around with a scary face all over my clothing.
My mother wouldn't allow that.
And the majority of Hot Topic's t-shirts are like that.
So anywho, I saw several Paramore shirts that were fine.
A couple Linkin Park and Within Temptation shirts.
That was it.
So I decided maybe I should scratch the whole band thing and go with movies.
I saw a Deathly Hallows shirt... that I REALLY REALLY WANT, but what made my day was the most epic t-shirt I had ever seen.
I saw a freakin Hunger Games shirt! :o
It only had the book cover image on it... but it still made my day!

Wednesday my cousins and Aunt are coming in to town to visit so you can count on my not being on most of the day.
Thursday we're going to a museum with them and then later that afternoon I'm going over to a friends where we are planning on making a Phantom of the Opera remake.
I'm a little worried that I may become a control freak and make them mad at me.
I just don't like it when people mess up Phantom.
It's not right.
And I was told that I should be Raoul. :/
EPIC fail.
My friend's already claimed Christine, my other friend is going to be Meg, Madame Giry, and grr, what's the other one?
I think she was going to be either Firmin or Andre. Can't remember.
Her brother is being The Phantom if we can bribe him enough.
But my friend and her brother live right next to a graveyard so we're planning on filming Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again there.
I'm VERY excited for that.
But, I'm Raoul... so you know I have no part in that. \:
 
I'm sure I'll have fun none-the-less.

I haven't been up to much.
I've been busy doing summer school work recently, but that's been about it.
Oh! And I watched the Sweeny Todd revival in concert yesterday...
Well it was on PBS from the 2007 revival, so no, I didn't see it in concert last night.
That would be pretty cool though... considering Neil Patrick Harris was in the cast.
If NPH wasn't gay, I'd marry him. :D
He just seems like a fun guy.

I figured out I want to play Johanna if I ever work up the nerves to go into theater.
It seems like an exciting role to play, I mean Sweeny Todd is just such a different musical that it would be fun to play whatever role.
Wouldn't it have been fun to play Johanna in the movie? :O
Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, and Helena Bonham Carter?
You can't go wrong with that cast.

Random things I've been thinking about:
 
The love triangle in Twilight is silly.
Erik/Christine/Raoul's love triangle will ALWAYS pwn other stupid little love triangles. Just saying.
It is after all one of the greatest love stories ever told.
Twilight's pretty lame in comparison.
 
Am I the only one who will buy songs on iTunes listen to them a few times, then go buy more and completely forget about the songs I just bought?
I tend to even forget I have them until I see them again. Then I'm like: Oh my goodness! I forgot I even had those!
Please tell me I'm not the only one.
 
I hate people who continually make fun of you but when you jokingly say something bad about them they don't speak to you for the rest of the evening, day, morning, etc.
I have a friend like that, and I normally can't stand to be around her.
I think I've become a fan of numerous things on Facebook that say something along the lines of: Oh so you can do that, but I if I were to do that it'd be a different story.
-.- Just a thought.
 
What I did yesterday:
I went to the mall with my friends yesterday, which I haven't done in months.
I really didn't buy that much, I got a cardigan/sweater for $5 that kind of reminds me of something that Taylor Momsen would wear.
I was happy.
And matching rings for me and my friends... which eventually turned my finger blue.
 
We all went into Deb (I think that's what you would call the store), you know the big prom dress store that you kind of feel out of place in if you aren't into dresses. *cough* Me.
My two friends started trying on a bunch of dresses but I wasn't really into it... they told me I was being a butt because I didn't want to try any on.
So I gave in, attempted to fit into one, and didn't even come out of the changing room.
But I helped pick out their dresses.
One of my friend's who is uber pretty and has the body frame of a model looked amazing in all three of her dresses.
That was kind of intimidating.
I helped pick out these really awesome shoes, that looked awesome on her... but they were forty dollars.
Then we crashed Forever 21 and Hot Topic.
Yep.
 
That's been my Monday.

Oh goodness. I want Hayley's hair. o.o
I think I posted that on Tumblr yesterday, but I don't care.
Grr, she's so pretty.
 
So I must credit Joyce, because I found those shoes and brangles in her items.

This was pretty difficult to make.
I tried re-arranging things way too many times.
Those bright red chucks were the hardest thing to decide on.
At first they didn't go with it at all, they stood out too much.
Then I found the AVPM quote and it matched everything better.
But the point of the converse was for color.
It was really dull without them.
 
I really love Taylor Momsen.
I know a lot of people dislike her because she's only 16 and acts like she's 21, but I mean not every 16 year old wants to be a good little Disney star, now do they?
I know I don't.
 
I really started liking her when I started watching Gossip Girl.
Yes, I admit it. I watch Gossip Girl.
It's a guilty pleasure okay?
And I really like looking at Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick.
I didn't like Nate's character at first, mainly because he was dating Blair and he didn't seem all that great.
But now that he's away from Blair and the whole Serena issue, I really really like him.
I'm only on the beginning of the second season, but I REALLY don't like Vanessa and Nate together.
I just hate Vanessa's character in general.
 
I prefer:
Nate and Jenny
Chuck and Blair
Serena and Dan
 
Vanessa can be left alone. xD
 

Friday I'm going to be out of town until Sunday.
My cousin's getting married in St. Louis so I'll be with family all weekend.
We don't get to stay for the reception though.
Which makes me sad because it's suppose to be pretty similar to how her sister's [and my other cousin as well] reception was.
And that was a ton of fun.
But we only get to stay for the wedding. :\
 
I'm not sure if I'll be able to squeeze in a set tomorrow, so this may be the last set of the week.

Ahaha, I loved that "keep clam" photo.
I was looking for new LND photos under the official Facebook page and that was set as someone's profile picture.
I greatly respect them.
 
Which by the way, I did find new LND photos. x)
Including the Gustave one in the set.
I'll probably make an album on a photo hosting site and post them in my Phantom group.
 
So the song in the set has been growing on me. I didn't originally like it. At all.
But now after watching Ramin and Harry sing it, I really really really love it.
Maybe it's because Charlie's sexual moanings were a bit much for me. O.o
I mean, "YES!" Come on...
Harry plays it down just a bit.
 
I can't wait till Spring of 2011.
I will force my parents to New York City if I have to.
Mainly because I want to see the show before Ramin and Sierra leave it.
They're not planning any time soon to leave it, but with Broadway you never know.
And since they're going to be coming to New York in the Spring, I desperatly HAVE to see it.
I mean, Ramin is so talented and so is Sierra.
They really are two of my favorite Phantoms and Christines.

I've been watching bootleg versions on Youtube.
:( I'm to be shunned.
 
But did you know there's gazillions of version on Youtube? I was shocked.
I found one of a husband and wife team playing The Phantom and Christine [Gary Mauer and Beth Southard] and they really are fantastic!
I believe it was on the same tour I saw a while back.
I think Beth is my new favorite Christine.
Sierra Boggess would be a close second.
 
But yes, when I first saw it. Ever.
I saw an ad in the newspaper, it was just sitting on our kitchen table. Looking like any old newspaper would.
I sat down and was trying to find the comics [Don't laugh, I was 9] and I came across an article about how difficult it was get the Chandeliere situated in the theater.
I started reading it and I told my parents that it seemed really interesting.
I think my mom was fixing dinner at the time, and she started going on about how she used to sing the songs in her vocal classes.
And how in choir she sang Think of Me.
She went to the piano and came back with the entire sheet music to the musical, and I went through it.
 
Yeah, let's just say my mom didn't know at the time she was creating a monster. xD
My brithday was coming up and I asked my parents if I could see the show for my birthday.
 
Anywho, that all lead up to: Gary Mauer was The Phantom when I saw it then. And Rebecca Pitcher was Christine.
I think she played the role along side Howard McGillian who has been said to be one of the best Phantoms ever.
 
Yeah. I just have an addiction.
Carrie and I decided it's beyond help.
And I don't just say that about anything.

I really adore this song, and I was listening to it the other day and searching the lyrics on Youtube when I found a Phantom music video to go with it and it suddenly hit me:

Oh! And I'm almost done with the Gaston Leroux novel, I read it long ago and didn't remember much.
But now that I'm re-reading it, I really really love it.
Although I despise the book Christine. She just kind of annoys me.
 
I'm really not feeling this set. I know I've made a similar one before, but that was my group's icon.
 
I'm not in much of a talking mood [notice the choppy/quickly changing subjects above]. So I don't think this shall be a very long note.
I also plan on watching a movie with my mother tonight.

I've been in a MR mood since my friend and I watched it Thursday.
It was the first time she'd ever seen it... I think she was a little disturbed the first half of the movie.

I really love Ashley, she's so gorgeous and in all of her interviews she seems so nice and down to earth.
She doesn't bother me like Kristen does.
And then everyone knows I adore Jackson.
 

Well, I kind of have a rant. Possibly a mini-rant.
 
So I was private messaging my friend on another site, and she has a boyfriend right now.
A boyfriend, that I believe, isn't very good for her.
She's kind of sheltered and doesn't really know the ways of life very well yet.
And I feel this boyfriend is going to take advantage of her for that.
Anywho, that's not what I'm going to be ranting about.
She asked why I'd never had a boyfriend before.
She told me that I'm pretty and that boys probably like me... so why not get a boyfriend?
Yeah, that's the question... why not get a boyfriend?
It kind of ticked me off.
Because I feel that you shouldn't have to have a boyfriend in order to be a normal teenager.
The whole reason I think my friend is dating this guy is because she wants a boyfriend to say she has a boyfriend, that's no reason to be dating someone.
She's seen him twice... she doesn't ever see him. He asked her out over text messages.
 
Now, this is coming from someone who grew up on Disney princess movies, so maybe I'm not someone to be juding.
But I feel like dating someone just so you can get attention isn't the proper thing to do.
 
So yeah, I'm the type of girl who probably wants to wait a while before she starts dating.
Half of my friends would agree with me on that... and half of my friends would think I'm crazy and partially insane for even thinking that.
Yeah, I'm a hopeless romantic waiting for her Prince Charming to come sweep me off my feet. But I for one, don't see anything wrong with that.
 
Yeah. That was my rant. And probably no one cares.

This note may be pretty long it includes my Eclipse review/Ooh! And a survey.
 
So first up: My Eclipse review.
 
So Tuesday night I actually braved the line and saw it at Midnight, let me tell you first off: It wasn't worth going to the midnight premiere.
Yeah it was fun because the local news guys were there interviewing random people (Including the two obnoxious girls behind us in line).
So that was pretty cool.
 
Once the trailers started (which they started kind of randomly, no one really knew they had started yet) the trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 begun and scared the crap out of everyone in the theater.
My friend and I were clinging onto each other, and our moms said they had wanted to raise their legs up onto the seats.
Yeah that was scary enough for one night.
 
I was rather dissapointed because the Deathly Hallows trailer did play... it was so awesome and amazing, what a waist... x)
 
[SPOILERS: You've been warned.]
 
I'll start off with my favorite scenes from the movie:
The purposal: It was so sweet how he described what he would have done if he had loved her in his era. How he would have courted her, it was just really romantic.
And it didn't seem as awkward between Kristen and Rob as it normally is.
They acted out the bed scene pretty well too, no it's definetly not Oscar worthy material, but it was cute.
 
The next scene I liked was between Charlie and Bella when he was trying to tell her to be safe.
I love Billy Burke, he's the perfect Charlie.
And when Kristen's with him that seems to be the only time she's not constantly blinking and being stupid.
The whole "Dad! I'm a virgin!' actually made me laugh. x)
 
The training scene:
I loved Jackson the most in this movie, that's all I wanted... more Cullens and more Jasper, and I got that.
His southern accent almost made me swoon, I swear. :P
And Alice and Jasper are my absolute favorite couple, so I was happy I got to see them together more.
 
The flashbacks were pretty great, except I prefered Jasper's to Rosalie's. Rosalie's was a little too dramatic, I dislike Nikki Reed so that may have had something to do with it.
 
Xavier was the perfect Riley! I LOVED him, and not because he's easy on the eyes. -.-
He was just great in general. He can act, unlike most guys his age.
 
Bryce... eh, she was too cutesy to be Victoria. I was hoping she would be okay, considering I really like her (ever since I saw Lady in the Water) . I guess it's her big blue (in this case red) eyes that kind of did it for me. She just wasn't as good as Rachelle... not that she gave a great performance either.
 
Hmm, skip Taylor...
 
Kristen and Rob weren't that great, I think Rob's given up on this whole thing like the rest of us.
He doesn't give a crap about Edward, and it's kind of obvious.
Kristen was terrible... I'll just stop that there.
 
Over all I give it 3.5 stars, my mom agreed with me on that.
It wasn't my favorite out of the series, Twilight is still my favorite, that was before Kristen and Rob got super awkward.
And New Moon is just flat out boring. *yawn*
