STORY LATER

Its the day before my amazing party and I'm stuck at this cocktail event my mother has dragged me to. Here I am, dresses in a ethereal sage dress and there she is in a tight short dress that makes her look like a bloody-
 
"Excuse me? You're Drina's girl, right?" I glance up at his familiar face. It takes me a second to realize he's Hugh Grant and then I get stuck on "Drina".
 
"Who?" I ask.
 
"Audrina Vandergrift" he clarifies and it makes sense. Of course he'd be a friend of my mothers.
 
"Yes, Jolie" I extend my hand and he takes it.
 
'Oh Hugh I had no idea you would be here!" my mother interrupts in a high-pitched voice.
 
"Hello, Drina" he smiles giving her a hug.
 
"Oh I'd completely forgotten anyone actually called me that" she said after pulling away. "I see you've met my daughter"
 
"She's a sight for sore eyes" he laughs and I blush. I feel like a nine year old, watching the adults talk. "Quite like her mother"
 
My mother's cheeks turn red as she laughs. "Always the comedian"
 
"Onto something serious, listen I was talking to Crowe and he thinks your daughter is going to be an Oscar winner" he smiles and I can't believe what I'm hearing.
 
"What?" my mom asks, looking as shocked as I.
 
"Well the future is yet to be known, but he wants you in his movie" he turns to look at me.
 
"Oh" I say, hardly able to speak. Me, in a movie. I'd never thought about it before.

She slept with him. At least I think she did. When he called I acted like an idiot and sent it to voice mail only to hear him say in a sincere voice that he'd done something wrong and he was sorry. He wanted me to know before I heard word. I hate Jolie and I hate him and i HATE the fact that I ever thought getting a boyfriend was a good idea. We all know boys are only good for one thing anyways. So I'm off to London, to drink these feelings away....but beware of my return.

I sigh with relief once safely out of the house. My mother has all of a sudden taken charge of the house and has decided to play the "mother" role she somehow missed out on for sixteen years. She's even decided to take control of my party, which I will admit in some ways is a relief. The only crummy part is she's been pressuring me about making those "amendments" to my social life and I have a feeling she's been doing more than just talking about it. I grab a coffee, walking out happily. My party is very, very soon!
 
"Hey...so you talked to Ella?" a male voice surprises me. I fumble with my coffee just barely catching it and turning to stare rudely at him. My eyes widen as I see him and replay his question.
 
"Yup" I nod, trying to walk away.
 
"Jolie, give me a moment" he catches up.
 
"I'd rather not Blake" I say formally.
 
"Fine, I guess I'll see you at your party anyway"
 
I stop and narrow my eyes. "I didn't send you an invitation"
 
His eyes give off a slight spark, " Well that's too bad, because I'm not giving it back" he grins before walking away. I stand there shocked, in the middle of the bloody parking lot. Mother! I roll my eyes, frustrated. I glance down at my suede boots and at my Chanel clutch wondering what to do and the allure of just wiping it all away is just too irresistible. The thought of just letting it all go and just be, without all of this rubbish. It doesn't mean I'll take him back, just that I'm ready for a fresh start....winter is on its way....

I love kids, every time I see one it reminds me of Ellie, my adorable cousin. Conveniently, she lives in France so I never get annoyed of her. But when I see her, its like she's known no other, which makes me feel so special. And she's the most fashion-forward two year old in the planet, which gives me an excuse to splurge on designer baby goodies. Well, Mimi gives me that excuse too, actually. Anyways I'm so looking forward to the children in need charity, if there's one thing you should always be able to give its love.
