so it's official: i'm a profound, hard-core fan of gossip girl. and don't think i'm talking about the tv show either, though i'd do that shit anytime. no, i'm talking about what came first: the books. oh yeah, all you other hardcore fans know what i'm talking about. although i do love the tv show (OH MY GOD EVERY SINGLE MALE SPECIES ON IT IS SMOKING LIKE A PIECE OF FRIED, FATTY BACON), the book has, and always will be, my favorite. i mean, the characters in the book are just so much more spotaneous and crazy. and i LOVE crazy. if you wanna get to know me, you should know i love crazy and zainy and wacky and tacky things. oh boy, my english teacher would be so proud of me for using all those internal rhymes. anyways, i'm currently in the middle of the third one 'All I Want Is Everything.' sounds so bitchy, right? IT'S PERFECT. and i love all those other novels just like gossip girl, too. the clique, the it girl, the private series, the au pairs, the a-list (wins second place for me)...you name it, i've read it. i am the QUEEN of teen fiction novels. although my parents would have a stroke, heart attack, be scared to death, and jump off a building while igniting themselves on fire if they knew what was in these books. oh yeah, and then i'd be grounded. but who says they're ever going to find out?

Deeper in the Woods

Deeper in the Woods
Sort of inspired by Vogue Home. I don't know, but lately I've been thinking, I wish I had a huge, lovely garden. not just one of those small ones in the backyard that you use for growing tomatos or funky smelling herbs or other shit, i mean, a REAL garden. one with hedges, and chrysanthemums (if that's even spelled correctly), and rose bushes, and sculptures, and fountains, and cobblestone paths, and a giant willow tree that i can sit under and read jane austen books. DOESN'T THAT JUST SOUND SO PERFECT? it'd be like, my own secret garden. for NO ONE else. just ME. MINE. hehehehehehe. my dad did promise me he'd plant a willow tree for me in our backyard (which has nothing but dead ass grass > and dog poo). but he also said it'd only be fully grown by the time i was dead. thanks dad. thanks.
countdown: SEVEN DAYS
song: soothing thunderstorm cd's that are supposed to put you to sleep.
movie: finding neverland.

mehh. threw this together in like, five seconds. anywho, i was thinking, and how cool would it be to own a house boat? i mean, i don't have that type of money of course, but it would be SO cool. say i was rich with heaps of cash because i married an uber rich guy who's family invented coco puffs or something. first, i'd buy me a cute pair of louboutins. second, a new litter box for my cat. THEN, i'd buy a house boat. and dude, i tell you, i will lounge around on that thing for HOURS. watch me fall alseep in the sun wearing a funky kaftan with intentionally cut out holes in it, then waking up to find myself looking like i have some rare skin disease or like i'm some lovechild between a very desperate woman and a leopard. that would so happen to me.

Paper planes and candy lips and lollipops galore
does anyone else miss kindergarten like i miss it? did i even spell that right? i hope so. but seriously, i think i was one of the happiest kids in the world when i was a mere six years old. i mean, really, how can you not love kindergarten? ya eat, sleep, poo, play with some legos, then sleep again and go home. it's the good life. unless you were one of those nose pickers whom all the other cruel kids banished because they thought you had cooties. but i wasn't one of those kids. i was, might i say, one of the *cool* kids. hehe. that sounds so weird to say about a kindergartner. i remember i had afternoon class. anyone else out there? come on, can i get a few raise of hands for the other afternooners? personally, i enjoyed those more because of the extra sleep you get in the morning. plus, you're more awake and attuned and therefore more hyper when it comes to toys. speaking of toys, did anyone else love lincoln logs like i did? my mom wouldn't buy them for me, so i used her tampons instead. the next day, i found a new set lincoln logs in my room.

American Beauty
green is usually my favorite color. y'know, because i'm such a hippie like that. well, not really, but i like to pretend i am. everyone enjoys a hippie. flower power, hookah joints, all that groovy stuff. but lately, red is becoming more and more visually appealing towards me. could it be that i just watched american beauty the other day? or twilight, which i also watched right afterwards (hey- i know kevin spacey and robert pattison are an odd couple, but i needed a good mix of talent and hottness)? i don't know what it is, but thank god i'm going shopping tomorrow so i can buy a few more rouge pieces.
countdown: 13 days
movie: a bloody movie...MUAHAHAHA.
book: twilight (but ONLY the first one)

Pourquoi est-ce que j'adore Paris beaucoup?
ahhh, gay old paris. the city of love. the fashion capital. where people go to have a jolly good time. i'm very excited because...drum roll, please...i happen to be going there for spring break. OH YEAH. i'm pretty excited. but nervous. i mean, i take french and all, but really, have you heard how fast those guys talk? it's like, crazy fast for a slow american like me. it's like gibberish. i'm afraid when i go out to dinner at a restaurant i'm gonna order 'une vache' (which means cow) instead of 'une glace' (which means ice cream). just watch me completely humiliate myself.
**NEW: countdown for paris: 14 days

i love shoes. i am not afraid to say i am a shoe-aholic. i have over 300 pairs of shoes on polyvore. yes, i know, i need shoe rehab. soon, i'm going to start thinking i'll be able to buy all these shoes and lose all my money buying a pair of must-have louboutins which i'll end up breaking at some crazy-ass party then drink beer and cry myself to sleep over a toilet to help cope with my heavy loss. so as a shoe fanatic, it pains me to see people wearing shoes that are just too hideous for words to describe and secretly make me want to sprint to the nearest bathroom to upchuck the burritos i had for lunch. yesterday, i went to famous footwear since i was in a rather dire need of summer shoes. lo and behold, what do i see? HIGH HEEL CROCS. oh yes, they really went there.

KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLORRR

KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLORRR
so lately, i've been finding that my wardrobe has been turning color bright. as in, rainbow brite colors. seriously, i recently found out i had a rainbow brite shirt burried underneath my cornucopia of clothes. and while this is not all bad, it's made me ask myself: why the sudden burst of color? did i have major personality gear switch in my head? did i go on a midnight shopping spree while high, which made me see things that aren't really there and buy a whole t-shirt collection of the rainbow and then wander lonely down the streets at night singing "she's like a rainbow," only to then be interrupted by an angry neighbor who threw a rainbow stress ball at me to shut me up but only made me more fascinated by color and strike up another chorus? i really wish i knew.
song: she's like a rainbow
movie: pineapple express
book: while we're on the subject, let's go with a reading rainbow book, shall we?
