When out with friends, watch what you eat. You are more likely to eat twice more then you normally would & even when you're not hungry.

A thirty minute jog three times a week burns over 1,OOO calories.
Do NOT starve yourself. Starving yourself slows down your metabolism, which means it will be harder to lose weight. So in the end you end up gaining instead of losing weight.
When eating sweets, go for the real stuff. Not cookies/cakes/cupcakes with artificial dyes, frosting, etc. They surprisingly are better for you. But don't go pass the serving size.

Eat breakfast. It's the meal that "breaks your fast" from the night before. It kick starts your metabolism & makes you more focused & awake in school/work etc.

Make your own meals. American adults buy a meal or snack from a restaurant 5.8 times a week, on average. Restaurants are not interested in your diet, and quest for healthy meals. Who knows how much butter they put in that soup? Put the control of your food back in your own hands & dine out less.
Swimming is a great exercise. You work your arms, legs & you don't sweat.
