&tradition Fly Sofa SC2 by Space Copenhagen
The new FLY Series by SPACE Copenhagen is a lounge collection made up of two sofas and an armchair. Pushing the idea of lounging to its fullest, FLY is a series that allows the user to sit, lie, rest, and relax. Unlike many of the sofas and easy chairs in Scandinavian design history, FLY does not impose any particular posture onto the sitter. The seat itself is optimised for comfort, with loose cushions for the back that can be arranged according to the user’s own needs. But FLY adheres to tradition in other respects; the frame of the sofa and armchair, with a slatted back rest, is made from oak, treated with white pigmented oil or smoked oil. It is the type of material and treatment that ages with true grace, only becoming more beautiful with time. Frame Solid oak, oak veneer, and plywood. Finish - Smoked oiled oak or White oiled oak frame. Upholstery Cold cured foam and natural down fillings. Upholstery in 'Chivasso Hot Madison' (CH1249/094) (Light colour) - Cotton/Linen blend or 'Chivasso Hot Madison' (CH1249/093) (Dark colour) - Cotton/Linen blend. Dimensions: Sofa without side tables: H 700mm x D 800mm, L 1620mm. Seating height on all models is 400mm.

    And Tradition Mayor Sofa Sofa
The Mayor sofa stands out from the furniture Arne Jacobsen is known for today. While The Egg and The Swan show an Arne Jacobsen who had found his well-known style inspired by international modernism, MAYOR features a unique style that draws as much upon the Danish traditions of fine woods and functional solutions as on the international modernism for which Arne Jacobsen is famous. Arne Jacobsen designed Søllerød City Hall (built from 1939 to 1942) with fellow student Flemming Lassen. Just as the city hall itself, the sofa features a tight and simple design that more than 70 years later still appears modern. Unlike many modern sofas that are designed for passive lounging, MAYOR encourages attentiveness and conversation and the high back creates an intimate space in the room, both at home and in larger public spaces. In detail: Type : Sofa. Colour : Yellow. Material : Bottom frame in solid oak - Internal wooden frame - Foam filling - Upholstery in fabric from Kvadrat : Hallingdal 65 (70% new wool & 30% viscose - Nanna Ditzel Design) Dimensions : W 200 cm x D 62 cm x H 82 cm - Seat : H 43 cm. Characteristics : 3 seats - For indoor use only - Hand crafted - First edition of the sofa designed in 1939 by Arne Jacobsen for the Søllerød city hall (Denmark)
