From her Fall/Winter 1997 Ready-to-Wear collection, comes this deconstructed coat from fashion genius Rei Kawakubo. It is made out of beige and gold floral brocade lamé with has kimono-like styling. Gold brocade is appliqued onto netting in an asymmetrical pattern which results in the exterior fabric looking like it is floating on top of the body. Irregular curving darts throughout give interesting shape. Round neck, long, shaped sleeves, no closures, unlined. Labeled size Medium.
