    The Eames Plastic Side Chair was created in 1950 in cooperation with Zenith Plastics for the "Low Cost Furniture Design" competition of the Museum of Modern Art. With that it was the first industrial-made chair made of plastic. The design was coined by the legendary American design-brothers Charles and Ray Eames. Now the Eames Plastic Side Chair found its matching cushion, this one optimizes the seat comfort. The solution of that comes from Germany, where the company Hey Sign designs and develops since 1999 "Innovations made of felt". In the collection found also some cushions acceptance, which were especially designed for classic-chairs by Vitra and Fritz Hansen. If in the private area, in restaurants, in waiting areas, offices or conference rooms: The Eames Side Chair wins through the flat felt cushions out of the convenient and ecologic precious, because renewable material also administrate on convenience, without an awkward factor on the concept and the design of the Vitra-classics. And thanks to the anti-slippery cover the cushion won't slip around, instead it will be stand where it should. The felt-cushion is also available without anti-slippery cover, and other colours. Moreover there are also double-cushions available (two cushions sewn together) with or without filling.

    Since 1999 the manufacturer Hey Sign produced felt innovations "made in Germany". Besides a very successful own collection, Hey Sign creates also special conditions for design classics of manufacturers such as Vitra and Fritz Hansen. The cushions of the original and unusual material fit perfectly to the silicone of the last century. Also the classic armchair Eames by Vitra. The chair comes from the legendary American design-couple Charles and Ray Eames. It was first presented in 1950 in in line with the competition "Low Cost Furniture Design" of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and belongs today to the famous chairs of the world. The organic shaped seat shell made of plastic was later combined with different frames and was produced a million times. In their actual version of polypropylene the armchairs offers a better seat comfort. This is optimated by the ant-slippery-coated felt cushion by Hey Sign. The production of felt as well as production or all the Hey Sign products is „Made in Germany", the completion of the products is even „handmade". The used felt material consists of pure new wool 100% without any chemicals or recycled textiles, which is documented by the known wool seal. Hey Sign is the first and only felt factory whose products have been certified according to the strict policy "The Woolmark Company”. The felt cushion is also available without anti-slippery-covering as well as in different colours. Moreover there are also double cushions available (two sewn together) with and without filling material.
