Ken Scott safari style dress from the 1970s in a wonderful print done in shades of purple, aqua, burgundy, teal & chartreuse, fabric designed by Susan Nevelson who still designs prints for Ken Scott (who passed away in 1991) Ken Scott's company is located in Florence, Italy his fabrics and clothing are still in vogue...Ken Scott is synonymous with the 1960s...The striking floral prints, bright colours and patterns were totally unique at the time. Many of the patterns Nevelson composed as Head Designer are timeless; they are still modern, fresh and bold, despite the fact they were designed 50 years ago. At its heyday, the brand was worn by the biggest names of the time, among them Brigitte Bardot, Monica Vitti and Peggy Guggenheim...Here, at first look you see a bold modern print in eye popping colours...Looking closer there are fantastic elephants with tasseled headdresses...The dress laces at the front quite low, there are gold grommets and a padded self cord to close...A wide flared collar, A line shape and sleek sleeveless style make this a summer conversation piece...Unlined...of silky Ban Lon nylon...
