Marc Jacobs once again proves his originality with one of the most atypical collections this season. In a nightmarish, almost "end of the world" set, the designer dares to mix completely opposed universes, the victorian era and the 2000s, between opulence and minimalism. No summer pastels tones but deep colors, navy, black, purple on very elaborated and embroidered pieces. Matador's jackets are mixed with surf spirit bermuda shorts and a Coca-Cola sweatshirt, long dresses are embellished with glitters and worn with sandals. One recurrent pattern, a hibiscus print which brings a touch of fun. Spring-Summer collection 2014.
