The formal detailing is relaxed and balanced by a distressed finish, rustic tea-stained burlap upholstery and hand-hammered upholsterer's brads. Hand built with a solid oak frame using mortise-and-tenon joinery. Arms and legs have been physically distressed to look like the originals. Padded seat and back are upholstered in tea-stained burlap, edged in hand-hammered brads. Deep walnut finish is distressed with nicks and cracks, recalling the original antique.
