    Sarjaton Mug By Iittala
Sarjaton, meaning 'without series' in Finnish, is a range that redefines the freedom of flexibilty. The essential parts can be used whenever for whatever and play just as well together as by themselves. Touch the embossed plates, enjoy the soft, muted tones of the color palette or make your own personal compositions. Shaped by the tradition, tailored for today, Sarjaton gives you the natural tools to create as you like. When Iittala brought together a group of young Finnish designers to create a tableware set, the result was a compelling new offering called Sarjaton. Acclaimed artisans Harri Koskinen, Aleksi Kuokka, Musuta and Samuji drew from their combined experiences in fashion, product, graphic and digital design to create a collection that is at once subtly sophisticated and rich with visual interest. Sarjaton is perfectly matched to the needs of contemporary living, and as unique as the combination of designers who created it. Few things in life are more reflective of your personal style than the table you set. Iittala's timeless selection of tableware, glassware and cutlery brings the best you forward. Each of our functional works of art is designed to fit your hand like a natural extension for a complete sensory experience at every meal. Mix and match pieces in endless combinations to provide the perfect setting for casual meals, formal occasions and everything in between. Iittala uses vitro porcelain, which is a modern, durable porcelain with a slightly off-white shade. All Iittala china is oven, microwave and freezer safe. Do not, however, take a dish straight from the oven and put it into a cold, wet surface or put it on steel. Do not put a dish straight into a hot oven from the freezer. A dish filled with liquid is not freezer safe, as liquid expands when it freezes. Do not use the dish if it has a crack because in a sudden temperature change the dish can break. And finally if you cook frozen food in the microwave it should be cooked in low-heat. Sarjaton is freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Teema is freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

    Iittala - Tanssi Paper Napkin
Tanssi (the Finnish word for “dance”) is a visual continuation of the magical world, which was created by the artist Klaus Haapaniemi for Iittala. The products of the Tanssi collection convince with fantasy motives and colours, reminding us of the inhabitants of undiscovered forests. Haapaniemi was inspired by the Czech opera “The Cunning Little Vixen”, which is a sad and also beautiful history about the coexistence of animals and humans and the eternal circle of life. The Cunny Little Vixen (originally: Příhody li'ky Bystrou'ky) is an opera by the Czech compositor Leo' Janáček. The opera emerged between 1921 and 1923 based on a novel by Rudolf Těsnohlídek. The opening night took place in November of 1924 and the opera of Helsinki presented this work again in 2015. Klaus Haapaniemi was called to equip the scenery, of course. Tanssi is different to other patterns like Taika, Korento or Satumestä, but it still emphasizes the distinctive and detailed style of Klaus Haapaniemi. The pattern tells its own story and it enriches our days with the cultural reference and a hint of nostalgia. The Tanssi napkins complete the Iittala collection by Klaus Haapaniemi. The combination of napkins and dishes give a unique, magical something to every served table, spreading a hint of nostalgia and romanticism.
