There’s something homey about having oil and vinegar dispensers on the kitchen or dining room table at all times. And then there’s something messy about actually using them at the table. Most dispensers don’t cut off the flow of the oil completely after pouring, causing the oil to spill when the dispenser is returned upright - and any table, especially a wooden one, takes a beating. The BISTRO Oil and Vinegar Dispensers come with a pointy plastic beak which cuts the flow of oil and vinegar very precisely – hence, no messy tables. A little silicone ball in the lid closes the dispenser when it’s standing upright, and then moves up to open the lid when the bottle is tilted, allowing for easy pouring. The dispensers are made from plastic, silicone and borosilicate glass. They are dishwasher safe.

Minimalism has been the norm in many cultures all over the globe since the beginning of civilization. People have strived continually for material poverty as a way to inner luxury. urbanature - high garden
Designer Jörg Brachmann challenged the problem of plants inside and outside of the house. The unusual garden keeps flowers at a height of 1,48, where you will be able to see them at eye-level. Urbanature is responsible for eye-catchers inside and outside of the house Green plants ensure freshness and comfort inside of the house, but they also cause some problems sometimes: Garden herbs and pot plants block the windows so that we aren’t really motivated to remove them for fresh air. Heaters at windows dry the soil in the plant pots so that one witted leave is followed by another one. And the summer sun will burn the dried leaves in the end. If all of it blocks our green thumbs, the high garden is a solution. Place it wherever you like in the room for the plants to be seen at eye-level all the time. It is a real eye-catcher – whether in the kitchen, the corridor or the office. The high garden also looks gorgeous outside: You won’t need to stoop to plant it, there will be no snails or rodents anymore. Instead, your plants are installed on the balcony, the terrace or in the garden as they deserve. The high garden: A garden on stalks The high garden is made of five cachepots for five stacks turned inside of each other. Alessi - Cha Kettle / Teapot
The bribing austerity of Naoto Fukasawa is again expressed in the assortment of Alessi – with the Cha, which is a kettle and a teapot at the same time. The lid of the Alessi Cha is easily but firmly introduced in the corpus of the kettle / teapot, in order to remain closed while it is used. The flexible handle of Cha is fixed at the corpus in a way that it snaps when the object is levered vertically, so that it is easier to pour the content. The handle of Cha is close to the corpus, which means that the multifunctional teapot is space saving when it isn’t used. The big integrated filter transforms “Cha” – the name is Japanese for “tea” – into a refined object to serve drinks. Naoto Fukasawa: Expressive purism The welded pourer has another filter, which keeps tea leaves from falling out, when they came out of the tea filter from inside of the pot. This structural details makes it possible to use the pot without filters, with the tea leaves directly in the corpus. The apparently simple shape hides how the designer concentrated on the details of his project, which is typical for the expressive purist Naoto Fukasawa: Elegant, simple and still very clever up to the details. Cha is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a lid knop of thermoplastic resin to protect the hands from heat. The modern teapot has a capacity of 900 ml. The base of the Cha kettle / teapot made of magnet steel is suitable for warmth sources of all kinds, including the one of induction stoves.

Hay - neues dänisches Design Hay - Analog Clock
Back to the roots? The name reveals it all: The Analog clock isn’t only a good distraction from the digital era with the analogue clockwork, but it also enriches every wall aesthetically. The Shane Schneck designed wall clock plays with the dimensions. Not only regarding the time, but especially the space, being meaningful: The dial is curved to the inside, which offers a kind of interesting plasticity to the appearance of the wall clock, leading to an interplay of shadows of the pointers. The pointers themselves don’t only grow out of the dial in order to be easily readable, but they are also different from each other because of the different colours of them, to be recognized without any problems. The white edition is completed with a gold-plated minutes pointer and the mint edition has a colourful accent because of the blue minutes pointer. The Analog wall clock by Hay is an iconic piece of design, which partly reminds us of a train station clock because of the classic lines pattern of the dial. The small details of the Analog clock give an individual charm to the aluminium object, which differentiates it from ancient clocks, in order to be contemporaneous in this digital age.

Tom Dixon. The Company Tom Dixon - Etch Votive Candle
The Etch votive candle was designed in the typical Tom Dixon -style: Made of polished metal and with extravagant shapes. The different openings in the material, which are altogether still very fine, let the light shimmer with many facets through the gaps, spreading decent shadows into the place. The gaps seem to have appeared naturally in the Tom Dixon Etch votive candle, or even “etched”. But that’s not how it emerged! The unusual appearance of the Etch votive candle also comes from an unusual processing: Tom Dixon used an industrial production method which normally serves to produce small electric devices. For this candleholder. This method allows the British designer to cut the fine and detailed patterns and structures into the metal of the candleholder, so that they act organic. The Tom Dixon Etch is also available as pendant lamp.

The latest design of Böninger has the potential to become a classic as well. This way, the Bottle Box can likewise be used as bottle shelf, stool or step stool. Furthermore, it obviously alignes itself with the iconic design of the Ulmer Stool which was designed by the Swiss architect and designer Max Bill for the HFG Ulm in 1954. The subdivided compartments offer space for up to eight bottles so that the Bottle Box can be used comfortably as beverage crate and, thanks to the stable wooden handle, can be easily transported. Once turned over or upside-down, the box can be both table or stool. The perfect companion for a cosy picnic or barbecue event with friends.

Cylindric forms come together with softly formed curves – this shaping is the same for all the Still Vases and it gives them the stringent but still natural appearance. The Still Vase – robust and fragile, hard and soft The designer Nick Rennie was inspired by his love for glass – a fragile material, but hard in the result. This is how he created a vase of contrasts: The white inside and the compact profile – transparent or with colourful welded glass -, give a soft, weightless impression to the Still Vases, appearing robust and resistant at the same time. Every vase is unique, being mouth-blown, each one slightly differs from the others. The shapes are classic and elegant, the colours - white and grey – decent: This is how the Still Vases ensure a trendy appearance and they fit in every kind of furnishing that way. The Still Vases are available in two sizes - one of them is high and slim, the other one small and bulky. The long vase is suitable for long-stem flowers, the short one holds bouquets. The Still Vase perfectly presents flowers. But it is as well a noble piece of decoration when it stands empty, alone, in groups or as eye-catcher connected with other accessories.
