The formal detailing is relaxed and balanced by a distressed finish and hand-hammered upholstery tacks. Hand built with a solid hardwood frame using mortise-and-tenon joinery. Padded seat and back are edged in hand-hammered upholstery tacks. Deep finish is distressed with nicks and cracks, recalling the original antique. Finish is hand-applied and hand-rubbed with stains, shellacs and wax.
