This minimalist philosophy is evident in Pollock's new tables. Pared to the essentials, each table is composed of intersecting lines with one special detail. The rectangular crossbars are offset slightly at the intersection with the tubular legs, and the ends are curved to emulate each leg's radius. "Designing tables was something new for me, so I decided to take a new approach. Much of my work has been about reducing forms down to a single line. These tables are about using lines to build something up. The joint detail implies they are assemblages," says Pollock. "Nothing in life emerges fully formed; everything is a work in progress." The cp.3 Tables are available as 42 inch diameter coffee tables or 22 inch diameter side tables, with polished stainless steel bases with 1/2 inch flat edge leaded glass tops. cp3 cocktail table: 42" dia. | 15" h.

    Bernhardt Design Cycle Round Bench
Design Hansandfranz, 2013. Stainless steel frame, upholstery. Made in USA by Bernhardt Design. "Their work is all about simplicity and purity and since that is what we strive for… I knew we were in good hands." - Jerry Helling. The Cycle family was based on the reduction of elements. Following a geometric approach, the designers wanted to create something that appears very light yet elegant. In creating the design, every line and every detail was critical. Hansandfranz spent much time working on the juncture of the metal base as it turns to meet the upholstery, making sure it was perfect to make the piece work. The Cycle family of products is comprised of a round stool, round bench and an oval bench. In each, a tailored upholstered cushion floats above two symmetric loops of stainless steel. The exception is the elegant elongation of one metal loop to create the oval bench. The sheer simplicity of the benches and stools allow them to blend into a furniture landscape or to stand out as strong accents when they are upholstered in active fabrics or colorful leathers. Munich's brightest new talents, hansandfranz make their first appearance on the American design stage with a collection of benches and stools for Bernhardt design. The twenty-something design duo is comprised of Munich natives Horst Wittmann and Konstantin Landuris. Their work came to the forefront at the Salone Satellite in 2007 and was quickly followed by an appearance at ICFF Studio in New York. cycle round bench: 41.8" w | 41.8" d | 18.25" h | seat: 36" dia.

Bernhardt Design Charles Pollock Cp1 Bench
Design Charles Pollock, 2013. Steel frame, upholstery. Made in USA by Bernhardt Design. In 2012, the 82-year-old Charles Pollock introduced his first new product in America since the debut of his iconic Pollock Chair forty-seven years earlier. Likened by the iconic designer to a classic Jaguar sports car, the CP collection blends a sleek, aerodynamic stainless steel frame with a luxurious natural leather seat and exquisite craftsmanship to create a truly timeless functional piece of art. Bernhardt Design has introduced the CP1 bench to complement Pollock's existing lounge chairs and tables. Pollock's designs were governed by two principles. Creatively, he favored a continuous curved line when sketching ideas and creating forms. The second principle was that any product must be visually attractive, functional, and affordable. His designs were technically advanced, yet easy to manufacture at a reasonable price. Pollock is the recipient of numerous awards and his work is exhibited in many museums around the world. CP1 bench features a polished stainless steel frame and a hand-quilted seat and back with a looped stitched cording tracing the perimeter of the chair. It is available in your choice of a variety of felt and leather upholstery options. You may select a contrasting looped stitching color from the selection provided, or Bernhardt Design will select the color that best matches the felt/leather selection. 56.5" w | 26.5" d | 16.4" h.

Design Pierre Paulin, 1962. Steel frame, mdf floor plate, upholstery. Made in Holland by Artifort. Artifort is proud of its history, which is why they have brought back Pierre Paulin's F564 and C565 in 2014. They have called them 'Nest'. It is a well-loved design from a previous Artifort collection, with beautiful flowing lines and offering great sitting comfort. It is a little retro and very charming, soft, and friendly. The armchair is ideal for times when you want to curl up on your own with a book or a tablet computer, while the compact two-seater sofa is perfect for cosy lounging with your other half. Both are fully upholstered, yet they look light because of the narrow base. Pierre Paulin studied stone carving and clay modeling at the Ecole Camondo in Paris in the early fifties where he began designing furniture for Thonet. In 1958, he became the designer for Artifort where he created a series of sculptural chairs with an inner structure of steel tubing, covered in foam and fabric. In 1968, Paulin collaborated with Le Mobilier National and received many important government commissions including furniture and interiors for the Elysee Palace in Paris. He also designed home appliances. The Nest collection is a direct relation of the Mushroom and has the same structure, a steel frame covered with cut foam, Dacron, and upholstery made of stretchy fabric with a minimum number of straight-stitched seams. It is offered in your choice of a variety of upholstery options. Also available as a lounge chair. nest sofa: 27.5" h | 59" w | ?" d | seat: 15.7" h.

Multiple layers form relaxed seating, designed for the individual yet perfect for the public places: like tectonic plates, the different layers tend to collide and overlap giving a highly original impression of movement , transforming even the most formal space into something fluid yet without ever altering its character. Moroso Bohemian Low Armchair
Design Patricia Urquiola, 2008. Injected foam, resin frame, varnished steel, upholstery. Made in Italy by Moroso. Patricia Urquiola is the designer who best expresses Moroso's vision; she has therefore created the main range of the new Bohemian collection. She has taken a very original approach to classic capitonné work, giving it a revolutionary modern look. Creating emotions. Patricia's Bohemian family of products - sofa, chaise longue and armchairs - have very fluid forms, almost as if they were melting over their frame, creating soft, irregular, enveloping, almost casual lines, where the fabric or leather is fixed to the shell with press-studs. Born in Oviedo, Patricia Urquiola attended the Madrid Polytechnic and the Milan Polytechnic Universities where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her supervisor of whom she was assistant at the Milan Polytechnic from 1990 to 1992. She has worked with many great talents and a plethora of companies worldwide. This brilliant Spanish architect is a phenomenon not to be lost sight of. The Bohemian low armchair features injected foam over an internal resin frame that sits on a steel swivel base. Very contemporary, a modern slant on a classic. This fresh approach was only possible thanks to Moroso's manual ability and know-how. As if they were working in a fashion atelier, Moroso's "tailors" treat the fabric with supreme nonchalance, transforming it at will, bringing it to life and giving shape to the designer's vision. Please note: one matching 20" seat cushion is included with your order. This product can also be ordered without a seat cushion (please call for to order). All other cushions seen in pictures are not included. Back side is covered in matching upholstery. Covers are removable. low armchair: 40.5" d | 37.75" w | 32.25" h | seat: 15.75" h | 24.5" d | base: 17.75" w.

    Moroso Rift Bar Stool
Design Patricia Urquiola, 2009. Self-skin polypropylene, steel base, upholstered seat cushion. Made in Italy by Moroso. Rift, to borrow the geological term for crack or fissure, is a seating system which cuts across the contemporary domestic living space. Unlike modular systems which are based on the rational use of geometry, Rift is built around an unexpected and asymmetric positioning of different volumes, an intentional randomness inspired by the unpredictability of nature. Multiple layers form relaxed seating, designed for the individual yet perfect for the public places: like tectonic plates, the different layers tend to collide and overlap giving a highly original impression of movement , transforming even the most formal space into something fluid yet without ever altering its character.
