    Knoll Petal&Reg; Collection End Table
Design by Richard Schultz, 1960.By Knoll.Schultz originally designed the Petal End Table to accompany the Bertoia Chairs that Harry Bertoia designed for Knoll. All tables feature tops made of eight petals, which are mounted on a beautifully crafted cast aluminum "spider". Schultz was inspired by Queen Anne's Lace — a weed growing near his home in Pennsylvania — which grows clusters of flowers, each supported on its own stem. By making a table in this manner, there is no need for a ring support, and each petal is independent, allowing the table to expand and contract with the weather. The Petal® Collection End Table can be customized with natural finish Teak or White polyurethane table top petals and several base/stem finishes. The support structure features a cast aluminum spider and base, with stainless steel stem - all finished in a weather resistant polyester powder coat. Product Features: Base and stem in a variety of outdoor powder coat finishes Available in vertical grain Natural Teak and White HPDE (High Density Polyurethane) Teak will weather and acquire a silvery tone if left outside in the elements Each petal is held in place with 3 screws Base and top support are powder coated cast aluminum Stem is powder coated stainless steel Molded nylon glides included See Specifications for Care Instructions Optional custom cover available and sold separately Introduced by Knoll in Los Angeles in 1960, the Petal Tables were immediately made part of the MoMA Design Collection

    Knoll Topiary&Reg; Collection Lounge Chair
Design by Richard Schultz.By Knoll. With Topiary, Richard Schultz wanted to design a chair that looked like a shrub pruned to look like a chair. The designer is "fascinated by the way sunlight comes through the leaves of shrubbery, producing dappled shadows." And this furniture was designed to act as a light filter, disappearing into nature. Sometimes the pattern looks like flowers. Covered with dew, it looks alive. The Topiary? Collection is made of sheet aluminum that is bent, stamped and folded. All aluminum components are then powder coated, resulting in furniture that you can leave outside throughout the year. Simple bent components form the seat back and arms of the series' Lounge Chair - a flowing, sculptural design which complements its natural surroundings. The Topiary Lounge Chair is well suited to outdoor garden spaces and gathering spots. The Topiary Ottoman/End Table is a natural selection for groupings of this Lounge. Select from 13 weather resistant polyester powder coat colors. Optional custom covers are available and sold separately (see below).

    Knoll Petal&Reg; Collection Dining Table
Design by Richard Schultz, 1960.By Knoll.Schultz originally designed the Petal Dining Table to accompany the Bertoia Chairs that Harry Bertoia designed for Knoll. The Petal® Collection Dining Table can be customized with natural finish Teak or White polyurethane table top petals and several base/stem finishes.
