This vintage st. John knit skirt, in a color they called 'india violet' could be straight off this season's runway. That would have been the cost if you purchased this skirt in a department store in the very early 1990's time frame. The vintage st. John knit skirt in this listing is labeled a size 4, however please use the measurements below to determine if it will fit you. In the photos i have shown this with a vintage oblong silk scarf, which coordinates so well with this skirt. That vintage scarf will come along with the skirt as a bonus to the buyer. The fabric content is the typical santana knit, with a mix of 80 wool and 20 rayon. This garment must be dry cleaned. It comes to you still clean, as fresh as when it was newly purchased, ready for you to wear. There are no pockets in this skirt and it is not lined. Due to the mix of wool and rayon for the santana knit, there is some stretch available in the fabric. No zipper is necessary because there is elastic in the waist. As you can see, this vintage sjk skirt is in perfectly wearable vintage condition. There are no stains, no holes, no odors and no unraveling anywhere. The elastic is still quite stretchy. The skirt is in extremely clean excellent vintage condition and this garment comes to you from a no pets, non-smoking home. These are the measurements, taken without any stretching: the un-stretched waist measurement is 27 inches and the fully stretched measurement is 32 inches. At its widest point the hip measurement is 40 inches wide. The entire length is 23 inches. The width at the bottom of the skirt is 39 inches. This is a vintage st. John knit skirt and it appears to be in excellent vintage condition. I have made every effort to describe the condition as well as i could.
